Bruce came to us as a stray and has always been timid when it comes to new people, but once he does warm up to you, he is just a sweetheart. He needs somebody willing to maybe visit a couple times or have one really long visit to get him comfortable, after that he becomes so loyal and loving it's amazing. I don't feel like he's been treated the best by humans, so somebody willing to understand that and just give him time to understand that humans can be good would be the best thing for him. Bruce just needs somebody devoted to loving and caring for him.

Bandit was an owner surrender of a homeless man, so he is not potty trained, but he will not go in his inside area in the kennels! Which is always a great sign, he will need an experienced adopter because of this, having no manners, and him having absolutely no confidence. He just needs somebody patient and willing to work with him and he will be such a good boy. He is so sweet and once he warms up to you is so loyal, he's already doing much better with manners but will need patience when adjusting to a home.

Doug is the sweetest little attention connoisseur you’ll ever meet; he came to us as an owner surrender after his owner sadly lost their home Doug has one very simple request: please pay attention to me. He isn’t particularly interested in toys, playing, or getting into mischief. His idea of a perfect day is sitting right next to his person on the couch, soaking up cuddles and enjoying being close to the people he loves. Doug could also use a little help losing those extra pounds, although he would like you to know that he strongly disagrees with this assessment. This boy LOVES his treats and would happily accept snacks all day long if given the opportunity. His future family will just need to help him practice a little treat moderation and keep him on a healthy routine. We’re sure he’ll forgive them eventually… especially if they substitute some extra cuddles. He is an absolute sweetheart with a pretty hilarious way of begging for attention. Doug will make it very clear when he has decided it’s time for some affection, and honestly, who could say no to that face? He doesn’t need much to be happy; just a comfy spot, a loving person, and plenty of attention. Because of his laid-back personality, Doug would do best in a slower-paced home where he can relax and enjoy the good life. He would especially love a family where someone is home more often than not, because being around his people is truly where he wants to be. Doug isn’t looking for an adventure buddy or a running partner. He’s looking for his person, someone who will let him be their loyal little shadow and give him all the couch cuddles his heart desires. If you’re looking for a sweet, funny, affectionate companion who thinks your lap (or the spot directly beside you) is the best place in the world, Doug may be your guy. Just be prepared: once Doug decides you’re his person, you’re probably going to be getting a whole lot of attention-seeking in return.
