Garcia 9 months old Neutered male Sheltie or Collie mix Currently 20 lbs Garcia is a shy but incredibly sweet boy looking for someone who can show him some patience as he settles into a new family. He is slow to trust new people but once he knows he’s “yours” he will cuddle up in bed, follow you around, and loves playing with other dogs and hanging outside! - Dog/cat friendly - Crate trained - Doing well with potty training - Nervous on leash, fenced yard required - Needs another friendly dog in the home to learn from If you’re interested in adopting Garcia please complete an application at www.rosebudrescue.com/adopt Long distance adoptions considered, must travel to us in the Buffalo NY area for a meet and greet. *Please keep in mind that it is time consuming for our volunteers to process applications. Hank is a 7-year-old Golden Collie who is very independent and loyal. Unfortunately, he cannot be around other dogs or children due to an incident in which he bit a child. He is okay with cats. He did really well with my older dog for a while, but once I moved into a camper, I couldn’t have both dogs. Hank is protective of his food, and he is hit or miss with toys. He is a very good dog in the right environment, but because of his history and behavioral needs, I’m becoming nervous that euthanasia may be my only option since no one will take him. I’m really hoping to avoid that if there is any safe alternative. The perfect home for Hank would be with an active couple or a single person who can take him on adventures. He loves to swim, play fetch, and be loved. He knows all kinds of tricks and is a wonderful, loyal companion when he is in the right environment. More than anything, I just want to find him a safe place where he can live out the rest of his life.
