Story
Garcia 9 months old Neutered male Sheltie or Collie mix Currently 20 lbs Garcia is a shy but incredibly sweet boy looking for someone who can show him some patience as he settles into a new family. He is slow to trust new people but once he knows he’s “yours” he will cuddle up in bed, follow you around, and loves playing with other dogs and hanging outside! - Dog/cat friendly - Crate trained - Doing well with potty training - Nervous on leash, fenced yard required - Needs another friendly dog in the home to learn from If you’re interested in adopting Garcia please complete an application at www.rosebudrescue.com/adopt Long distance adoptions considered, must travel to us in the Buffalo NY area for a meet and greet. *Please keep in mind that it is time consuming for our volunteers to process applications. We ask that you are sure you are ready to welcome a dog into your home and are seriously interested in adopting BEFORE applying.

Story
Garth 1 year old Neutered male Australian Cattle Dog mix 30-35 lbs Garth was adopted about a month ago and unfortunately returned today. His adopters were so sweet and kind and tried so hard to make things work, but unfortunately we learned that their living situation just wasn’t going to be right for him. He came out of a puppy mill around 10 months old, so he will take time to warm up to things. We have decided he will do best in a home with direct access to a fenced yard, and preferably another confident dog who can show him the ropes. - Dog friendly - Previously did well with cats - Crate trained, may be vocal while adjusting - Previously potty trained if kept on a good routine - Will walk on leash well once he’s comfortable - NEEDS a fully fenced yard for potty breaks - Would likely prefer a home without stairs If you’re interested in adopting Garth please complete an application at www.rosebudrescue.com/adopt Long distance adoptions considered at the adopters expense. *Please keep in mind that it is time consuming for our volunteers to process applications. We ask that you are sure you are ready to welcome a dog into your home and are seriously interested in adopting BEFORE applying.*

Story
Hi, I’m Lark, and if you are looking for a happy little sidekick with bright eyes and a wag that never seems to quit, I think we should meet. I’m about 5.5 months old, and I have that classic puppy charm where everything feels exciting, fun, and worth checking out. People at Happy Bark think I might be a beagle, collie mix or something along those lines, which sounds about right because I’m curious, sweet, and always ready to be part of whatever is going on. I came from an unwanted litter, but that is not the story I want to lead with. I’m much more interested in the good part, finding a family of my own. I’m friendly, playful, and I get along well with other dogs. I do notice cats, but mostly because I seem to think they might want to play with me. I also spend time with kids who come to play with us, and I’m learning that people are pretty wonderful. Like any puppy, I have energy to spare, and I’m still figuring things out, including leash walking. I also have a nice calm side, which means I’m not just about zoomies and games. I can settle in when the moment calls for it, and I’d love a home that will enjoy both sides of me, the silly puppy fun and the sweet cuddle breaks in between. Lark's adoption fee is $350. Story
Hi, I’m Drake, and I’ve got all the puppy sweetness in a slightly smaller package. I’m 5.5 months old, and people think I’m a beagle, collie mix or something close to that. Whatever my mix may be, it gave me a bright, happy face and a playful spirit that makes it easy to fall for me. I came from an unwanted litter, but these days I’m focused on the future. I’m a friendly boy who enjoys other dogs, and I don’t seem too concerned about cats except to wonder whether they might like to play. Kids come spend time with us every Friday, so I’m getting lots of practice soaking up attention and having fun with people. I’m still learning the ropes, including how to walk on a leash, and like any puppy, I have plenty of energy. I also know how to settle down when things get quiet, which makes me a really lovely mix of fun and easygoing. If you’re hoping for a sweet young dog who will keep you smiling and grow up by your side, I’d love the chance to be your boy. Drake's adoption fee is $350. Story
Meet Daisy!Daisy is a beautiful 7-month-old mixed breed puppy with a sweet & happy personality . She currently weighs about 28 pounds.Daisy came into the shelter with her sister, so she’s used to being around other dogs. She should enjoy having another canine companion in the home. Daisy would also love some children to play with!Daisy is young but very smart. She’s still learning about the world, but that just means she’s ready to grow, learn, and bond with a family of her own. ???? Daisy was returned from her first adopters as she apparently didn`t like the two males in the family and became aggressive when they were in the room, she was fine with the females and since her return she has been fine with all the volunteers, If you are interested in Daisy, please fill out our online application or stop in during open hours. Wednesday 6-8pm or Saturday 12-3p.https://www.lakeshorehumanesociety.org/online-adoption-form
