I’m a 2-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix, weighin’ in at a solid 60 pounds of charm, loyalty, and tennis-ball-chompin’ energy. I’ve got the zoomies when it’s playtime, and I’m a world-class couch companion when it’s time to wind down. I love hangin’ with other dogs and I’ve been makin’ awesome progress with housetraining. I’m a smart cookie who just wants to make you proud. Now, full disclosure: I’m not a fan of cats. Nope, not my thing. So I’ll need a home without any of those sneaky little whisker-twitchers. But hey, if your place is feline-free, we’re gonna get along just fine. Other details - I love belly rubs, ear scratches and giving kisses. I’m a romantic like that. I also love treats, snow and toys! I’m overall a stand up guy who also knows sit, stay and down. So whaddaya say? Ready to bring home a loyal buddy who’s got a heart as big as his smile? Meet Alex! Alex is a handsome 1 year old mix breed pup. He is friendly, fun loving and energetic. Alex seems to do well with the other dogs that he’s met at LHS. We are recommending older kids due to his exuberance. Alex will need some work on leash walking with and basic commands. His new owner should have the time, patience and energy to dedicate to him. Alex would be a great companion for an active owner. He would make the best walking or running partner. If Alex sounds like the one for you, please fill out our online application or stop in during open hours. Wednesday 6-8pm or Saturday 12-3p.
