**Meet Lady!** Lady is a beautiful Collie mix with an affectionate personality and a curious nature. She came to the City of Tuttle Animal Shelter as a stray, and based on her behavior, we believe she may have been someone's beloved pet before finding herself in our care. Since arriving at the shelter, Lady has been a friendly, affectionate girl who enjoys human attention and exploring her surroundings. She's a good dog with plenty of love to offer, and we'd love to see her find a home where she can feel safe, comfortable, and loved. We do want potential adopters to understand a few important things about Lady's history and behavior. Lady was brought into our care following a dog-on-dog altercation that involved a minor. Since arriving, she has shown herself to be dog-selective, meaning she may get along with some dogs but not others. Any potential canine companions would need to be carefully evaluated. Lady also exhibits some food resource guarding around other dogs. **We have not observed this behavior directed toward people, but separate feeding from other animals would be a requirement in her future home.** Given her history and these considerations, we believe Lady would be best suited for a home without small children. Lady is spayed and ready to find her forever home! She may need a family willing to understand her boundaries and provide appropriate management, but she has so much affection and companionship to offer in return. If you're looking for a sweet, curious companion and think your home might be the right fit, we'd love for you to meet Lady!

This sweet girl is Dixilyn! Dixilyn is an approximately 3-year old female Shepherd/Collie mix and weighs around 40-45 lbs. She was rescued from a small shelter in Oklahoma. Dixilyn is a friendly, good-natured, playful and affectionate girl! She just wants to be with her people and be loved. She has been excellent with the toddler in her foster home and is good with other dogs. Dixie is a smart girl and catches on to new things quickly. Dixilyn REQUIRES another playful dog in the home and would love a home where she is included in activities. Dixilyn takes her cues from other dogs and looks to them for guidance. She needs a securely stockade-fenced back yard to run and play in. Dixilyn is crate-trained and doing great with her house-training. She is progressing with her leash training but will need continued assistance. Dixilyn is spayed, current on vaccines, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250. This beauty is Luna Lu and her friend is Ghost! They were rescued together and are very bonded, so much so, that they need to be adopted as a pair. Luna Lu is an approximately 2 year old female Husky/Collie mix who weighs around 50 lbs. She was found as a stray with Ghost and never claimed. Luna Lu is a girl with an obsession for belly rubs! Luna Lu is affectionate and well mannered. She gets along with other dogs but is a little shy at first. She tends to play for a couple minutes then lays down like she had a hard day at work. Miss Luna would prefer to have a home with access to a backyard! She loves to get her tan on in the sun. Needs a securely fenced (6-foot) backyard. She also knows sit and shake. She will show you her cool tricks for some belly rubs in return. Luna does tap into her Husky side and will a-woo when she wants some love! Lunas dream home would be with her foster brother Ghost. Miss Luna is learning to enjoy car rides. She does well in the car, but she does need help getting in because she is afraid. If you’re looking for a low maintenance sweet little girl, Luna Lu is your girl! Luna Lu is crate, house, and leash trained.
