Meet Hakoda! Hakoda is a 29-pound sweetheart with a goofy personality and a heart full of love. We believe he may be a Collie/Great Pyrenees mix, though his breed is just our best guess. After spending time on his own, Hakoda is learning that life as a beloved family dog is pretty great. He is friendly with people, loves kids, rides well in the car, and is settling into indoor life surprisingly well. He can be a little shy around other dogs at first, but he continues to gain confidence every day. Hakoda was found underweight and is currently being treated for a tick-borne illness with antibiotics. He is expected to make a full recovery and is already feeling much better. We think Hakoda would thrive in a home with either a calm older dog or a playful canine companion. He can be a little jumpy when excited, but his sweet nature and eagerness to please make him a wonderful companion. If you're looking for a resilient, loving pup who is ready for a fresh start, Hakoda is waiting to meet you!

Penny's story started with a tough battle against parvo but youd never know it from meeting her today. This happy little girl approaches life with a wagging tail and a playful spirit. She loves other dogs and is always looking for a playmate to chase, wrestle, or nap beside. When she's not busy having fun, she's showing off her gorgeous coat and impossibly soft puppy fur while soaking up affection. Penny is still a baby, so she's working on crate training and potty training and making great progress. She's curious, sweet, and ready to take on all the adventures that come with growing up in a loving home. We recommend a home with at least one other friendly dog to help show her the ropes and patient people as she learns how to be a good dog. Penny is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and has been on preventatives! Our Rescue is 100% donation based all the way to adoption. We do not have set adoption fees, but we do require a donation to be made at the time of adoption. Donations go towards saving other animals and preparing them for their new lives in their new homes! This sweet girl is Dixilyn! Dixilyn is an approximately 3-year old female Shepherd/Collie mix and weighs around 40-45 lbs. She was rescued from a small shelter in Oklahoma. Dixilyn is a friendly, good-natured, playful and affectionate girl! She just wants to be with her people and be loved. She has been excellent with the toddler in her foster home and is good with other dogs. Dixie is a smart girl and catches on to new things quickly. Dixilyn REQUIRES another playful dog in the home and would love a home where she is included in activities. Dixilyn takes her cues from other dogs and looks to them for guidance. She needs a securely stockade-fenced back yard to run and play in. Dixilyn is crate-trained and doing great with her house-training. She is progressing with her leash training but will need continued assistance. Dixilyn is spayed, current on vaccines, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250. This beauty is Luna Lu and her friend is Ghost! They were rescued together and are very bonded, so much so, that they need to be adopted as a pair. Luna Lu is an approximately 14-month-old female Husky/Collie mix who weighs around 50 lbs. She was found as a stray with Ghost and never claimed. Luna Lu is a girl with an obsession for belly rubs! Luna Lu is affectionate and well mannered. She gets along with other dogs but is a little shy at first. She tends to play for a couple minutes then lays down like she had a hard day at work. Miss Luna would prefer to have a home with access to a backyard! She loves to get her tan on in the sun. Needs a securely fenced (6-foot) backyard. She also knows sit and shake. She will show you her cool tricks for some belly rubs in return. Luna does tap into her Husky side and will a-woo when she wants some love! Lunas dream home would be with her foster brother Ghost. Miss Luna is learning to enjoy car rides. She does well in the car, but she does need help getting in because she is afraid. If you’re looking for a low maintenance sweet little girl, Luna Lu is your girl! Luna Lu is crate, house, and leash trained. Meet Harvey Dent! Harvey is a 5–6 year old, 50 lb. sweetheart with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He’s never met a stranger—this goofy boy loves people and soaks up every bit of attention he can get. Harvey has done well with other dogs he’s been around and tends to be on the submissive side. He’s not interested in being “alpha,” but he does get pretty excited around cats, so a cat-free home would be the best fit. He’s also great with kids, though his playful, rough-and-tumble style makes him better suited for older children or teens. Here’s a little more about Harvey: Training: Potty trained, kennel trained, and loves car rides. Leash walking is still a work in progress since he gets easily distracted. Playtime: Energetic, silly, and sometimes a little rough! He can’t have stuffed toys (he’s a pro toy-destroyer) but enjoys Nylabones and supervised rawhides. Quirks: Has a loud, unique bark, loves to “talk back,” and has a habit of licking just about anything—beds, shoes, toes… you name it! He’s also a bit of an escape artist and can climb a chain-link fence, so a secure yard is a must. Personality: Stubborn at times, but endlessly loving. Harvey gives the best cuddles and kisses and will keep you laughing with his silly antics. Harvey is looking for a home where he’ll get plenty of structure, playtime, and love.
