He really loves to work on training and is very food motivated. He is reactive on leash with dogs, better with female dogs. He dislikes cats, so no small animals in his new home would be best. Best home scenario: Bandit is a very high energy intelligent dog who would do best in an active family willing to give him the exercise and mental stimulation he needs. Someone involved in dog sports would be ideal for him based on what we have seen at the shelter and how much he enjoys his time training. He has met a couple dogs at the shelter that he was great with but can be very selective with his dog friends.October 18, 2026, 8:35 am

Story
❤️ Pinipa Has Waited Her Whole Life for You ❤️ Five years old. Five years in a shelter. Still waiting for her chance. A Whole Life Behind Shelter Walls This sweet girl is Pinipa. She is five years old, about 75 lbs, and a tripod — and she has spent almost her entire life in a shelter. Pinipa was only three months old when she arrived. Five years of shelter life. Five years of concrete floors and darkness. Five years without knowing what it feels like to have a home. And yet, despite everything, she has the biggest smile, the sweetest eyes and a heart overflowing with love. She has never had a family of her own, never had a bed to call hers, never had someone who was all hers. She adores people, is great with other dogs and is indifferent to cats. After all she's been through, she still has so much love to give — she just needs someone to give it to. 🥺❤️ 🐾 About Pinipa ♀️ Sex Female 🎂 Age 5 years old ⚖️ Weight 65 + lbs 🐾 Mobility Tripod — needs to lose weight ❤️ People Loves people 🐕 Other dogs Great with other dogs 🐈 Cats Indifferent to cats 🩹 Gentle Care for a Brave Girl With nowhere to go and no room to move, Pinipa grew heavier and heavier, until one of her legs became compressed beneath her. She lost that leg while in the shelter — a loss that came from simply having nowhere to go. She is still overweight from so many years of limited activity, so she will need a proper diet and a slow, gentle introduction to exercise and to the world outside. With patience and love, every small step she takes will be a victory. 🌱 What Pinipa Needs Now Is a Chance • A chance to feel fresh air on her face • A chance to feel grass beneath her paws • A chance to go for walks at her own pace • A chance to explore the world outside those shelter walls • A chance to finally know what it feels like to be loved and cared for in a home 🏡 Imagine Everything You Could Give Her Close your eyes for a moment and picture it. You could be the one who gives Pinipa every "first" she has missed: • Her first soft bed after five years of cold concrete floors • Her first car ride home, nose in the breeze, sun on her face • Lazy afternoons stretched out in a warm patch of sunlight • Slow, gentle walks where she can stop and sniff every flower for as long as she likes • A collar with her very own name tag, because she finally belongs to someone • Cheering her on as she grows a little stronger and healthier with every passing week • Her first holiday, her first birthday celebration, her first everything in a real home • Falling asleep at night knowing she is safe, wanted and loved She won't need much. Just patience, a gentle hand and someone willing to show her that the world can be kind. In return, she'll give you a love so grateful and so deep, you'll wonder how you ever lived without it. 💕 Could You Give her that life? She needs someone willing to open their home and their heart and help her begin the chapter she has been waiting for her entire life. You can't give Pinipa back the years she lost. But you can make sure every year from now on is the best one yet. Please email c4ptoronto@gmail.com to learn more about Pinipa and our foster to adopt trial program.

Story
When Zeus and his sister were just puppies, they were found dumped at an old strip mall in Kentucky. No one could have known then just how much these two would blossom with patience, love, and a chance. Today, Zeus is a completely different dog - and what a dog he is! Zeus has grown into a big, goofy, fun-loving boy with a heart to match his size. He absolutely loves his toys and would happily spend his days running, playing, and enjoying life to the fullest. His silly personality is impossible not to love, and he has a wonderful way of making people smile. One of Zeus's greatest accomplishments is becoming one of our dog testers. The once scared puppy who was so frightened of the world is now trusted to help us evaluate other dogs because he is so good with them. Watching that transformation has been incredibly rewarding. Zeus is proof of what patience, compassion, and a second chance can do. From a scared puppy abandoned at a strip mall to a big, happy goofball who loves playing with his friends and toys, he has come such a long way. Now Zeus is ready for the next chapter of his story - a forever home where he can run, play, be silly, and be loved exactly as he deserves. If you're looking for a big-hearted, playful companion with a goofy personality and a love for other dogs, Zeus might just be your guy.
