Ivera | F | 6 years old| 80lbs| Kid-friendly!| GTA Ivera is WOW with a side of OMG. She's the most amazing dog and pretty much everyone who meets her wishes they could adopt her! She's the most chill and gentle girl, and a true people person. When she meets someone new, she will roll onto her back, rest her paw on their chest, and invite them to give her a belly rub. She's all friendliness, all trust, and all affection. A social butterfly. Ivera is also an incredibly good and well-behaved dog. She walks well on leash, she's good in the car, she waits patiently at the door to go out. She is fully housetrained and not a barker. She loves backyard time, belly rubs, cuddles, and people! She's non-reactive to other animals but her heart really lies with humans and she loves to be part of the group. When she gets a little extroverted out, she'll take herself away for some quiet time. She loves children and would love to be a dog sibling to a kid. This amazingness of this dog can't be overstated. She's so full of love, friendliness, and fun! She's the kind of storybook companion that you'd find in a children's book: loyal, loving, friendly, and calm. Was introduced to two small whippets and was great with them, was also good with a large female dog but can be very reactive on leash. Good with cats: no Good with kids: unsure Good with strangers: yes Guarding issues: Not that has been noted during time at the shelter Ever bitten a human: Not that we are aware of Ever bitten a dog: Not that we are aware of Behavioural issues: reactive on leash to dogs House trained: Yes Crate trained: unsure Destructive when left alone: unsure, not destructive in kennel Barks when left alone: unsure- will settle in kennel Leash skills: Handling issues: None Known commands: sit, down, shake Food on now: science diet adult Medical issues: none Personality, likes/dislikes: Bandit is very friendly with people and super smart. He really loves to work on training and is very food motivated. He is reactive on leash with dogs, better with female dogs. He dislikes cats, so no small animals in his new home would be best. Best home scenario: Bandit is a very high energy intelligent dog who would do best in an active family willing to give him the exercise and mental stimulation he needs. Someone involved in dog sports would be ideal for him based on what we have seen at the shelter and how much he enjoys his time training.
