Story
🌟 Meet Noir — The Sweet Soul Who’s Learning She’s Safe Noir’s life could have ended before it ever truly began. She was rescued just moments before she wandered onto a high speed highway—frightened, trembling, and trying to make sense of a world that had not been kind to her. After she was brought to safety, we searched and waited, hoping someone would come for her—hoping she was missed. But no one ever did. For a while, it felt like Noir had been invisible. Not anymore. Because the most beautiful part of Noir’s story is what’s happening now: she’s beginning to bloom. With gentle support and time, Noir has started to transform in the quiet, powerful way that only truly resilient dogs can. She’s learning that hands can be kind. That rest can be peaceful. That she doesn’t have to run anymore. She’s learning—slowly but surely—that she is safe, that she matters, and that she is not alone. Noir is incredibly gentle and sensitive, the kind of dog who doesn’t demand the spotlight but will absolutely shine once she knows her heart is protected. She’s a “diamond in the rough” in the truest sense—soft, tender, and full of quiet potential, just waiting for the right person to help her confidence grow. 💛 The Home Noir Dreams Of Noir doesn’t need a perfect home—she needs a patient one. A calm space, a steady routine, and a person who understands that trust is a journey, not a race. She’s looking for someone who will celebrate the small victories: the first relaxed sigh, the first tail wag, the first time she chooses to come closer on her own. If you’ve ever wanted to be the reason a dog learns what love feels like, Noir may be the one. Because sometimes, all it takes is one person to change a life forever—and Noir is ready to believe that her person is out there. 🐾 About Noir Noir is between 1 – 2 years old and weighs about 45 pounds. She is health, vaccinated, and spayed. She is good with other dogs, children and leaves cats in her foster home along. Story
Scottie's story began in a small northern Manitoba community, where he and his sister were abandoned and left to fend for themselves. Thankfully, a caring good Samaritan stepped in and gave them a second chance. Now, Scottie is safe, happy, and eagerly searching for a forever family to call his own. This handsome pup is the perfect mix of friendly, curious, playful, and delightfully mischievous. Scottie loves everyone he meets and is always ready to make new friends, whether they have two legs or four. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would do well with dog-savvy cats, though he may try to convince them to join in his puppy games! As a young pup, Scottie is a blank slate with a bright future ahead of him. He's looking for a family willing to invest the time, patience, and love needed to help him learn the ropes and grow into the amazing dog he's meant to be. In return, Scottie promises a lifetime of laughter, adventures, cuddles, and unconditional love. Could Scottie be the missing piece your family has been waiting for? Story
Mister Scruffy is a sweet, happy-go-lucky boy who would love a home where he can finally relax and be part of the family. He is smart and eager to please and thrives on companionship. His favourite thing is simply being near his people, soaking up affection and enjoying a calm environment. He is lower energy around humans but enjoys moderate play sessions with other dogs and gets along well with dogs of all personalities because he is respectful and social. Mister Scruffy seems to be mostly house trained but like many dogs adjusting to a new environment, he may have the occasional accident if left unsupervised at first, but he learns quickly and responds well to guidance. He is not crate trained and becomes very distressed when confined, so a safe dog-proofed area or free roam of the home would suit him much better. He is generally calm indoors and non-destructive unless crated or kenneled. On leash, Mister Scruffy is extremely good but can get excited and pull a bit if he spots a furry critter. He responds well to verbal correction and is making great progress. He can occasionally get excited and jump up, but this is being worked on and continues to improve. Mister Scruffy loves affection and handling, enjoys being pet, and has shown no signs of food aggression. He would be happy as an only dog or in a home with canine companions. He came into rescue with multiple bite wounds, hot spots, and an injured paw, likely from a difficult past. His injuries have healed significantly, his limp is gone, and he continues to recover beautifully. Mister Scruffy is the kind of dog who simply wants to love and be loved. With patience, consistency, and a family willing to continue helping him settle into home life, he will make an incredibly loyal and devoted companion.
