Story
Kycies is a beautiful 3-year-old Coonhound with a sweet heart and plenty of personality. She can be a little unsure when meeting new people, but given some patience and time to get comfortable, her lovely nature starts to shine through.Kycies is still working on her manners, but she's already figured out a few tricks and is eager to keep learning! Being a hound, she also has a high prey drive and will need to be the only animal in her new home. This girl is extremely strong on leash, so she's looking for a confident, physically capable adopter who can safely manage her while continuing to work on her leash skills. A securely fenced yard is a must, giving her a safe place to stretch those long hound legs and explore.Kycies may still have a few things to learn, but she has so much potential. With patience, consistency, and someone willing to continue her training, we think this sweet girl will make a wonderful companion. If you are interested in meeting Kycies, please fill out an online application. viewing will be by appointment only for approved applicants. Story
Meet Lenny!Lenny is a handsome, energetic boy with a big heart and an even bigger love for adventure. He enjoys the company of other dogs with proper introductions and absolutely thrives during off leash playtime, where he can run, romp, and explore to his heart's content. At home, he's a well mannered companion who settles beautifully once he's had his exercise.Once Lenny gets to know you, his affectionate side comes out! He loves to lean against his people for pets and give lots of kisses. As a hound mix, Lenny is all about long sniffy walks, hikes, and a good game of fetch. He's hoping to find an active adopter who will enjoy getting outdoors as much as he does. Lenny would also love opportunities for dog-dog play as part of his enrichment.Lenny is looking for a home where he can be the center of your world, he would love a confident canine friend to help build his confidence, an adult only household (or with older kids). City life is overwhelming for him, so he's searching for a quiet neighborhood in a suburban setting where he can relax and enjoy the peaceful life he loves. He'll do best with an experienced dog owner who's excited to continue his training. Lenny already knows his basics, sit, stay, down, and touch, and he's very treat motivated, which makes training both fun and rewarding. Lenny has an extreme fear of vehicles and needs lots of desensitization to get him used to a vehicle. He has made some progress with this but still is very fearful to get into a vehicle and will need a patient adopter willing to work with him on this.If you're looking for a loyal, outdoorsy companion who will adore you endlessly, Lenny might just be your perfect match. Please follow these steps if interested in adoption!1.
