Story
Peppa is a 10-year-old coonhound with a gentle soul and a lifetime of love to share. In her golden years, she’s mastered the art of balancing curiosity and calm—always ready to follow an interesting scent, but just as happy to settle into a cozy spot for a well-earned nap. With her classic hound features and wise, expressive eyes, Peppa carries herself with a quiet grace. She’s the kind of companion who doesn’t need to demand attention to be noticed—her steady presence and sweet nature speak for themselves. Whether she’s enjoying a slow walk, lounging in the sun, or keeping you company around the house, she brings a comforting, peaceful energy wherever she goes. Peppa’s years have given her a patient, loving temperament. She appreciates the simple things: a soft bed, a gentle voice, and time spent close to her favorite people. She may be a senior, but her heart is full, her spirit is warm, and she still has so much affection left to give. Story
I had gotten Oz with a former partner of mine, and we had him for about a year and a 1/2 together before we broke up. He’s a very VERY loving dog and was raised around cats and children. He’s never had bad experiences with other dogs, he usually just wants the play with them instantly. He’s been trained with some German commands, lay down (Platz) and sit (zitz), he knows how to shake your hand if you say “paw” and extend you hand towards him, if you raise you hand and say “boop” he will jump and touch your hand with his nose, and he also knows speak in you raise your hand flat up in the air and say “speak.” I don’t have the time anymore with my work schedule and being by myself to take care of him, he spends most of the day in his crate, and I spend as much time with him as possible. He needs a backyard to run in and play in, I love him to death, but I want the best for him, rather than to be selfish and keep him locked up for long periods. I have brand new flea meds for him.
