Five-year-old Cal has been at Satchel’s for over a year, and now it’s time for him to find his forever home with that special someone who will love him for the wonderful dog he is! When Cal first arrived, we quickly discovered that a previous injury had healed incorrectly, making the amputation of one of his legs necessary. But don’t tell Cal he can’t do something! This resilient boy doesn’t let anything slow him down. With the help of his Woof Pack Leader, Linda, Cal happily runs around our large on-site yards and spends several days a week heading off-campus for fun adventures with her. Cal feels most comfortable when introductions to new people are taken slowly, but once you’ve earned his trust, you’ll have an adoring canine companion for life! This happy boy can barely contain his excitement when he spots his favorite staff members and volunteers, often jumping for joy to greet them. And one of his favorite things? Simply soaking up affection from the people he loves. Cal is easy to walk, enjoys car rides, and loves staying close to his favorite humans. If you’re looking for a loyal companion, be prepared to share your couch—Cal will likely make sure you’re never sitting alone again! Cal has previously lived with another dog, and we believe sharing a home with a canine companion could be possible again with the right match and proper introductions. Meet Delta and Echo! 🐾 These two adorable boys were born on August 14th and are around 10 weeks old. Their mom was said to be a Lab/Beagle mix, but their adorable wrinkles have us wondering if there might be some Bulldog or Mastiff in the mix, too! Delta and Echo will be neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate puppy vaccines, deworming, and flea/heartworm prevention. Their adopters will be responsible for continuing their puppy vaccine boosters with their veterinarian. They are located in Sarasota, and their adoption fee is $350 each. We do not adopt siblings into the same home, but their families can always arrange future playdates!
