Story
🌟 Meet Sammy! 🌟 Sammy is a 2-year-old sweetheart with a sensitive soul and a heart full of devotion once he knows he can trust you. He was adopted once, but through no fault of his own found his way back into rescue with Journey’s Legacy. Since February 2025, he’s been learning that the right home is still out there—and he’s absolutely worth the wait. Sammy is shy with new people and prefers to take things slow. He doesn’t love affection right in his face until he knows you—and once he’s comfortable, he’ll be the one to initiate it. But once Sammy approves? You’re officially his person. He will become your right-hand man, happily climbing into your lap, clinging to you, and showering you with love, hugs, and devotion. He is incredibly protective of his person and would make a wonderful companion for a single lady—Scout’s honor, he’ll keep you safe. 🫶 Sammy bonds deeply and takes that role very seriously. Sammy is dog friendly, though a bit picky, so a meet & greet is a must. He prefers no cats or small animals and does best with kids ages 10 and up, who can respect his boundaries as he warms up. As for the things Sammy truly loves? Squeaky toys and his raised bed—those are his absolute favorite things in the world. Give him those, plus patience and love, and you’ll have a loyal companion for life. 📍 Located in Cleveland, TN 🚗 Transport available 💰 Adoption fee: $150 Sammy may take a little time to open his heart—but once he does, you’ll never walk alone again. Could you be the one he’s been waiting for? 🐾✨

Story
Meet Willie — our long-legged, fence-climbing, bowl-carrying goofball! Willie is a two-year-old Coonhound mix (possibly with a splash of Great Dane, because have you seen those legs?!). He is approx. 2 years old and weighs 75 lbs. and is fully vetted. He’s tall, lanky, and moves like a baby giraffe who just discovered zoomies. His legs seem to go on for miles, and he hasn’t quite figured out what to do with all of them — which just adds to his charm. This boy is full of personality. Willie loves people and is happiest when he’s getting attention, tossing a ball around, or showing off his silly side. Fetch? Yes, please. Playtime? Absolutely. Being your shadow? Even better. Now, let’s talk about his special talent… Willie can escape a fence like it’s an Olympic sport. Climb it? Sure. Jump it? No problem. If there were gold medals for backyard gymnastics, Willie would be a champion. He’ll need a very secure yard or a home committed to supervised outdoor time — but what he lacks in containment skills, he makes up for in entertainment. One of the funniest things about Willie? Mealtime. Instead of eating from his bowl like a normal dog, he carefully picks it up, carries it over to a blanket, sets it down just so, and then enjoys his meal like a distinguished (and slightly ridiculous) gentleman. It’s his world — we’re just living in it. Willie is goofy, lovable, athletic, and full of heart. He’s looking for a home that will laugh at his antics, keep up with his energy, and love him for the big, silly boy he is. If you’re ready for long legs, big laughs, and a whole lot of personality — Willie is your guy.

Story
Rue is a 6 year old couch potato. She is such a sweet chill dog, she will go crazy if a ball is involved though. Great with kids and other dogs. The only reason we are rehoming her is because we are moving and cannot take her.

Story
Meet Atticus, an adventurous and affectionate companion searching for the perfect partner to share life’s journeys. He’s a laid‑back, easygoing dog who strikes a wonderful balance between outdoor excitement and cozy indoor relaxation. Atticus is truly a “best of both worlds” kind of pup. He’s just as happy exploring nature as he is settling in for a quiet evening at home. He loves spending time outside—chasing toys, enjoying long walks, soaking up the sunshine, and splashing in the water whenever he gets the chance. He also makes a fantastic travel buddy, riding comfortably in the car and always ready for a weekend getaway or spontaneous road trip. When the weather turns dreary or you’re in the mood for a movie marathon, Atticus is more than content to curl up and snuggle. His affectionate, loyal nature shines brightest during those calm, quiet moments. He’s also friendly and social, getting along well with other dogs and children. While he would prefer a home without cats, he may be able to adjust with slow and thoughtful introductions. Atticus is currently enjoying life in foster care and is ready to embark on his next big adventure. If you’re looking for a devoted friend who brings both fun and warmth to every day, he might be the perfect match for you.
