Born: August 09, 2020 I am 78lbs and I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $400 Hey there, dog lovers! Let me introduce you to Rovi, the big, loveable coonhound with a quirky bark. This guy is a talker! Rovi is a gentle giant who warms up very quickly. Rovi exudes friendliness, playfulness, and curiosity. He adores the company of his humans and relishes trips to the dog park. Rovi behaves well during baths and when meeting strangers, showcasing his good nature. Moreover, he is adept at house training. This dog is looking for a loving home where he can feel safe and loved. Once he gets to know you, he'll shower you with love and affection. Rovi's heart is as big as his howls.   All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. Story
Lady 6 years 50 lbs Lady is a sweet, happy, goofy hound! This girl is really something special and is a favorite of everyone here at Rescued Rascals. She is so gentle and loving to everyone she meets! Lady is good with other dogs, although she is indifferent about play. She mostly just co-exists with other dogs nicely. Her very favorite thing is food! She loves treats and will gladly sit for one. Lady has soft ears and loves to have her head scratched. She's a petite happy hound! She’s actually more on the quiet side for a hound but will howl if you start it for her. Lady does have the typical hound nose and would thrive in a home with a yard for her to wander and sniff around at her leisure! She is potty trained and crate trained! Interested in Lady? Submit an application on our website rescuedrascalsil.org! We will review your application at our earliest convenience. If your application is selected, we will contact you for a phone interview.

FAST FACTS:*4 Years Old - 49 Pounds*Calm/Medium Energy*Kid Friendly*Dog Friendly*Cat Friendly*Potty & Crate Trained*Training Required*Recovering From Heartworm TreatmentBIO:Howdy, all! My name is Ivey, and I am a beautiful hound doggie who would love to love you. I was rescued from an overcrowded shelter in Texas and promised a second chance at a great life with Fetching Tails in Chicagoland. I was diagnosed with heartworm, but FTF promised to get me the treatment I needed and now I am on the road to recovery and a long, healthy life. Goodness, am I happy to have made the long trip! I love living in a home with people to provide all the cuddles, toys, and attention I adore. My foster momma says I am a generally calm girl who enjoys time outside in the yard (my dream forever home would include a fenced yard), long walkies, and taking a chew toy to my bed or the couch so I can curl up and play with it. I get along well with other dogs, cats, and even human kiddos so I would fit into any family with ease. I also don't mean to brag too much, but I am a good roommate with nice manners: I am potty trained (I love being outside and wait by the door when it is my turn to go out for a potty break!), crate trained, and am food motivated to learn even more. I think training classes would be lots of fun, and I look forward to attending some by your side. What are you waiting for? As much as I love my foster home, I am excited to start my happily ever after with a forever family of my own. So please hurry up and fill out an adoption application soon - I cannot wait to meet you!If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.

Story
Emmie Lou is a 7 year old black & tan coonhound. She weighs around 65 pounds, is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and is on prevention. This girl is full of personality. She is very affectionate and loves attention and to snuggle. Don’t let her age fool you. Emmie Lou is still an active girl that can still tree a coon a lives for her walks. This girl has no trouble walking 6 miles and could keep going. She will help keep you in shape and active since she will sit by the door if you forget her walk. If you need a walking buddy Emmie Lou is your girl. Thank you for your interest in a Save a Stray pet. The first step is to complete an adoption application. https://www.saveastray.org/forms/form?formid=3635 Once the application is approved, a FaceTime will be set up for a virtual meet and greet. Since we are located in Mobile, AL, this will give you the opportunity to see the pet interact with other dogs, people, and see a bit of their personality. Transports leave every week alternating between the NE and the Great Lakes. We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport.
