Story
Hello! Welcome to my profile! I'm Granny! I may be a puppy, but I've got an old soul. One day, while exploring, I found a magical stone. Touching it, I was teleported to a place filled with other furry friends and that place is All Fur One. It's fun, and I get to go on adventures and meet new friends everyday all day long. I'm brave, always ready to lead the pack on hikes. I'm also playful and energetic, always up for a game of fetch or learn an agility course. My curiosity keeps me learning new tricks, and my loyalty makes me the perfect companion. I'm looking for a forever home where I can share my love for life. Adopt me, and let's create magical memories together. p.s. did you know when you adopt through AFO you get FREE/discounted dog training through their partnership with GoodPup? Well when you adopt me you can continue my training and reinforce what I already know with expert help! How cool is that?! Adoption form: allfurone.org/dog-adoption-application/ *Remember - AFO DOES NOT HAVE ANY INFORMATION or guesses as to breed from dogs pulled out of under-serviced high volume intake shelters! Why? Our pets are rescued from shelters in underserved communities. All of our dogs and cats deserve to feel loved and know they are wanted. Each pet in our care has their own story which defines their individual personality, behavior and needs. We provide proper veterinary care and offer a consistent routine to allow for any necessary behavior modification to happen in a healthy and positive way.Demands for visual breed typing and/or size requirements are contributing to larger scale issues which are impacting the ability for pets and their families to stay together during life changes. Every single pet in our care are beautiful and discrimination towards color, sex, coat-type, size and/or species is an outdated archetype All Fur One is determined to have all our adopters rise above. With that, AFO has stopped participating in visual breed typing practices that are detrimental to our cause and therefore all veterinary records and pet profiles for dogs will reflect "Mix" as the breed.

Story
Here comes Hank! Hank is a 2-year-old Coonhound mix and is fully grown at about 50 lbs. Hank is truly the life of the party. He loves to be around people and is not shy when saying hello. Hank must go home with a fenced-in yard where he can sniff until his heart is content. He loves to use his nose to explore and find new things. Hank walks well on leash but will definitely steer you off course if something smells really good. He would not mind going home with other dogs, cats, or children. Hank is practically a pro with his crate and house training. He is eager to find his forever family! Apply on our site today to begin your adoption application for Hank! Hank is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped. **Please note: completing an "adoption inquiry" via Adopt-a-pet/Petfinder does not constitute an HFG Dog Rescue adoption application. All adoption applications must be completed on www.hfgdr.org** HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!
