To make the adoption process faster and easier, please visit www.almosthomeohio.org and complete our online application! Tucker is a stunning, 90-pound, 5-year-old mixed breed with a truly unique coat. He can be a bit shy when meeting new people or settling into a new space, but once he feels safe and comfortable, his affectionate, goofy, and endlessly loving nature shines through. Tucker adores attention and bonding time with his people. He loves being outdoors—sniffing, exploring, and soaking in his surroundings—and is always up for playtime, especially if tennis balls are involved. When he’s not playing, you’ll often find him happily gazing out the window, keeping an eye on the world outside. Tucker already has a solid foundation of training and knows basic commands such as sit, place, paw, and come. He’s been lovingly raised by his current owner since he was 6 months old and has known a home full of care, consistency, and affection. Tucker is being rehomed due to resource guarding with food and toys toward another dog in the home. He is not aggressive toward people and would do best as the only pet, where he can fully relax and enjoy undivided attention. A calm household with a securely fenced yard, no young children, and patient, understanding adopters will allow Tucker to truly thrive. Mack is seeking a new home.Mack loves to play ball, go on walks and play tug. He is very energetic and friendly towards people but doesnt get along with cats and needs a slow intro to other dogs. He knows most basic commands and can walk on a leash. He would do best in a home with a physical fence as he does not obey an electric fence. Mack is house trained and UTD on all of his vetting. If you are looking for your next running buddy or best friend you can apply to meet Mack at ricopetrecovery.org. Adoption fee is $250.

Story
Maisy is a spirited girl who is always on the go. It is possible she may have been a marathon runner in a previous life. She is an agile lean running machine. Try and keep up. If you're looking for some added excitement in your life, this hound brings unending energy to the table. She is definitely the center of attention at any party and with her hilarious sense of humor, she is sure to entertain. However many toys you think your need, double that. She chews bone, chases balls, and puts her all into a game of tug of war. She can catch sometimes and she loves a good enrichment toy, her favorite being a Wobbler. She plays hard and should nap but fights sleep like a toddler. You may catch her sleeping standing-up because she just wants to stay near you. Maisy is devoted two year old coonhound. You will be her whole world. She will show affection for you everyday. If you're looking for loyalty, it's is built into her genes. She loves attention and cuddling and will accompany you anywhere you take her. She is great with some dogs, but can be selective. Maisy is potty trained with training bells so she can let you know when she wants to go outside. If you're going to be gone from home awhile, this clever girl is even trained to a pee pad. She prefers a fenced yard but is trained on a long lead. She also has some leash experience and is crate trained. Her recall is good when she is not distracted. She is food motivated and highly intelligent so as long as the treats are tasty enough, Maisy could probably learn algebra. Maisy is gorgeous, smart, and goofy. She also needs a Valentine so if you're looking for love and long legs, this girl has a great big heart to give to a special forever family!

Story
Hi there, Jag here! Im a handsome 3-year-old Shepherd/Hound mix weighing about 59 lbsand yes, I love a good sniff (what can I say I am a dog!).I recently made my way to Canine Collective from West Virginia, and while all of this is still a little new to me, Im settling in more each day. I can be a bit shy at first as I adjust to new surroundings, but with a little time and patience, my sweet personality really starts to shine. Ive already made a great impression on the humans hereespecially the vet staff, who said Im a very handsome and healthy boy (I agree with them ). I even attended an adoption event and did greattaking it all in stride and showing everyone what a good boy I am.One of my favorite things? Getting outside and exploring. I recently spent some time with a volunteer who said I was a very good boyand I had a blast sniffing everything along the way. Id love a home where I can enjoy walks, outdoor time, and maybe even some hiking adventures. If youre looking for a loyal companion who just needs a little time to settle in, I could be your guy. I promise to reward your patience with lots of love and companionship. Be sure to check out my video at the end of the photos to see more of my personality! If youd like to meet me, please complete an application at www.caninecollective.org and ask for Jag! If you already have a dog at home, bring them along for a meet and greetwe can get to know each other in the fenced yard.
