Story
This adorable and sweet Coonhound was found roaming the forests of Birmingham, Alabama, with no collar, microchip or tattoo. It is believed that he was a stud dog, but not much is known about his history. We fell in love with him and arranged for transport to Columbus, Ohio via the friend who found him. He has been living with us for over 3 weeks, but seems to have a high prey drive/strong hunting instincts. This is making it feel unsafe for him to be around our cats, so we have kept them separated. We have also discovered that 3 out of 4 humans in this house is allergic to him. He does get along really well with our current dog. He has such a lovely demeanor and is very gentle and loving with humans and dogs. We set up a neuter appointment for him but it is currently 3 weeks away. We intend to cover his neuter and rabies vaccination financially for whoever adopts.

Mack is seeking a new home.Mack loves to play ball, go on walks and play tug. He is very energetic and friendly towards people but doesnt get along with cats and needs a slow intro to other dogs. He knows most basic commands and can walk on a leash. He would do best in a home with a physical fence as he does not obey an electric fence. Mack is house trained and UTD on all of his vetting.
