Story
Meet Valentino – A Gentle Soul Looking for His Forever Home   Valentino is a 7-year-old coonhound with a quiet strength and a heart full of love—just waiting for the right person to share it with. He came from a rough start, found emaciated and in poor shape, and had to have many of his teeth removed. But today, Valentino is healthy, safe, and ready for his second chance.   He’s housebroken, crate trained (though he doesn’t need one), and gets along beautifully with other dogs. In fact, Valentino prefers having a dog friend around—he lights up when he has a buddy to nap with, play with, or just share space.   With people, he’s a bit shy at first. He tends to hang back until he’s comfortable—but once he warms up, he’ll gently lean in for ear rubs and be right by your side for a quiet afternoon nap. He’s not a high-maintenance dog, but he absolutely loves playing with other dogs and will happily join in for a game of chase or a romp in the yard.   Valentino is the perfect mix of calm and playful, independent and affectionate. He’s looking for a home where he can feel safe, take things at his own pace, and be part of a relaxed, dog-friendly household.   If you're ready to offer a soft bed, some ear scratches, and a loving home to a dog who truly deserves it—Valentino is ready to meet you. Story
Snoop is a very friendly Treeing Walker Coonhound. He is a grade-A snuggler who thinks he is a lap dog! True to his breed, he has a strong prey drive, so NO cats. He is best as an only dog or with extremely slow intros to new dog friends. He is house/crate trained and very food motivated. He can at times get over-stimulated/fixated on things and will need redirection, even sometimes on the leash. Therefore, a perfect home would be one that is willing and able to keep up with his training.  Apply to foster or adopt this handsome man today! www.adoptastray.com  April 17, 2025, 11:35 am

Story
Oddie was a Cleos Legacy pup who was adopted out as a pup but their owner can no longer keep him. He is looking for a Furever home. Oddie is a large, very active, affectionate puppy who is excellent with children. At the daycare, he can be off-leash without any problem around children who are already used to being around dogs. He also gets along very well with cats, like Mixu, whom he playfully chases and teases. We currently take him for walks twice a day (at 8:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.) around our neighborhood, as we do not have a car to take him to the park. Although he goes on walks, Oddie prefers to do his business in our backyard. Oddie is a joyful, energetic companion, ideal for an active family who enjoys spending time outdoors and can provide him with structure and attention.

Rihanna and Rufus are a bonded pair that were dumped at the county shelter about 2 years ago. Bald & sick, they were nursed back to health under the care of the shelter and local vet. Rufus and Ri were pulled into foster and then rescue when they had been to many adoption events with no luck at their furever home. They love to wrestle together, be with their people, play endlessly in a fenced in yard, mole hunting. They love children and other dogs. They are indoor, family dogs.
