Story
Between December 1st and 17th, part of my adoption fee is sponsored! Thanks to the Bissell Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelters campaign, my new family can take me home for $50! Meet Cordelia! This sweet, small Hound Mix has a loving personality. Moderate energy, she's approximately 4 yrs old and weighs 39 lbs. She has done well with the dogs that she has met while in our care and she tested well with a cat! If Cordelia seems like a good fit for your family - apply today! Her adoption fee is $275! To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Between December 1st and 17th, part of my adoption fee is sponsored! Thanks to the Bissell Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelters campaign, my new family can take me home for $50! Are you looking for a quirky hound boy, full of personality, with the cutest little underbite? Then Mitchell is your guy! Mitchell is a 2 year old, 40lb hound mix who loves to go for walks and LOVES treats. He's not picky, he's happy with one big walk a day or several small walks, as long as he gets to do a little sniffing around here and there. He is house trained and crate trained, he will walk to the door when he needs to go potty and hasn't had any accidents in his foster home! Mitchell loves to play with his toys and will bring you each one to show you what he plans to play with next. Once he's finished playing he will come and lean against you for cuddles. He is a true hound and will sing to you when he's excited, he can also be a stubborn guy but will do absolutely anything for a pupperoni! Mitchell is dog-selective which means he will need slow introductions to any doggie siblings and a space of his own to settle in. He gets along great with all three of his doggie foster sisters and is very respectful of his cat foster brother. Mitchell is very loving and a little nervous in new situations, he's looking for a family that will be patient as he gets to know you and will appreciate this sweet and goofy guy. His adoption fee is $275. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, fully up to date on vaccinations, including rabies (if age appropriate) and Bordetella, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
