Dak / Neutered Male / 2 Years / 76lbs /Coonhound x Bulldog / Dogs: Yes / Cats: No / Kids: 16+ / Location: Port Colborne Reintroducing… DAK! Formerly known as Yamper, this handsome boy was adopted as a puppy but became “too much” for a busy family with young kids. Once back in our care, it was clear he hadn’t been given the consistency and structure he truly needed. He arrived in rough shape, but we got him healthy, confident, and ready for a fresh start. Dak spent time in foster and then moved to a wonderful boarding program where he’s been brushing up on his manners and learning all the “good boy rules.” And he’s been THRIVING. He plays with lots of different dogs every day He’s super well socialized He’d LOVE a playful canine buddy at home Dak is food motivated, affectionate, loves a good sniffari, and is always excited for new adventures. He’s incredibly sweet and sensitive, he wants to please, but he can get overstimulated without clear guidance. Dak needs a confident, committed human who will give him structure, enrichment, and leadership. In return? The biggest cuddles, a loyal companion, and a dog who will blossom with the right person. Here he’s become a well adjusted, happy boy. He can play or quietly entertain himself with a stick, or just take in the world around him. He’s ready for someone who will take the time to truly know him. We are currently looking for a foster, a foster-to-adopt home, or an adoptive home for Dak. He deserves his person, someone who will help him continue to grow and thrive. Could that be you? Hi… I’m Atta 🐾 I’m 8 months old, a Jindo × Hound mix girl, and about 10kg of pure love and wiggles. When I was just 3 months old, I was placed on the euthanasia list at a shelter in Gwangju. I was still such a tiny puppy. Thankfully, kind people rescued me, and I spent two whole months in a foster home learning something very special — what it feels like to be loved, to live in a house, and to trust human hands. Now I’m safe, and I’m waiting for you — my forever family. My name, “Atta,” kind of sounds bright and cheerful… and that’s exactly who I am! I really love people. I love being near you, leaning into you, looking up at you, and giving you all my affection. I’m the kind of dog who will make you smile without even trying. When it’s playtime, I’m energetic and a little silly. I love to move, explore, and have fun! But inside the house, I’m actually very good at settling down. I can rest calmly and just enjoy being quietly by your side. I don’t always need excitement — sometimes I just want to share space with you. I’m gentle and friendly with people of all ages, and I can be soft and sweet with children too. I also get along well with other dogs — I have good manners and enjoy having canine friends. I’ve learned indoor potty training, though if I move to a new environment, I might make a small mistake at first. I’m still just a young puppy, after all. If you guide me patiently and lovingly, I promise I’ll learn quickly and try my very best to make you proud. I’m still growing — not just in size, but in heart and experience. I’m ready to go on walks with you, learn new things with you, and build a life together step by step. All I need is someone who will love me, be patient with me, and promise that I’ll never have to wonder where I belong again. If you give me your heart, I’ll give you mine for the rest of my life. Will you be my forever family? 🐶💕
