Kyle's story is one of movement, curiosity, and a heart that's always ready for the next adventure.Born around March 16, 2024, Kyle is a 1.5-year-old Coonhound mix with striking black-and-brown markings and a lean, athletic 56-lb build made for running. At just four months old, he was surrendered and brought into rescue, where he waited - growing up with hope - until his journey led him to Small Critters Rescue in September 2025.Kyle is the kind of dog who wakes up excited for the day ahead. He's friendly with men, women, kids, and other dogs, greeting the world with a wagging tail and that classic hound enthusiasm. True to his breed, he has a voice and isn't afraid to use it now and then, but it's simply part of his charm.He walks well on leash, rides happily in the car, and loves getting out to explore. If he spots another dog, his excitement might show with a bit of pulling - not from reactivity, just eagerness to say hello. At home, Kyle is still polishing his manners: house training is in progress, crate training is a work in progress too, and if he gets bored, he may decide his bed looks like a chew toy.
