Story
Hi… I’m Atta 🐾I’m 10 months old, a Jindo × Hound mix girl, and about 10kg of pure love and wiggles. When I was just 3 months old, I was placed on the euthanasia list at a shelter in Gwangju. I was still such a tiny puppy. Thankfully, kind people rescued me, and I spent two whole months in a foster home learning something very special — what it feels like to be loved, to live in a house, and to trust human hands. Now I’m safe, and I’m waiting for you — my forever family. My name, “Atta,” kind of sounds bright and cheerful… and that’s exactly who I am! I really love people. I love being near you, leaning into you, looking up at you, and giving you all my affection. I’m the kind of dog who will make you smile without even trying. When it’s playtime, I’m energetic and a little silly. I love to move, explore, and have fun! But inside the house, I’m actually very good at settling down. I can rest calmly and just enjoy being quietly by your side. I don’t always need excitement — sometimes I just want to share space with you.I’m gentle and friendly with people of all ages, and I can be soft and sweet with children too. I also get along well with other dogs — I have good manners and enjoy having canine friends.I’ve learned indoor potty training, though if I move to a new environment, I might make a small mistake at first. I’m still just a young puppy, after all. If you guide me patiently and lovingly, I promise I’ll learn quickly and try my very best to make you proud.I’m still growing — not just in size, but in heart and experience. I’m ready to go on walks with you, learn new things with you, and build a life together step by step. All I need is someone who will love me, be patient with me, and promise that I’ll never have to wonder where I belong again. If you give me your heart, I’ll give you mine for the rest of my life. Will you be my forever family? 🐶💕

Story
Meet Mister Paws - a true Kentucky sweetheart with a heart as big as his earsMister Paws is a coonhound mix who has already overcome more than most dogs ever should. Found skin and bones, this handsome boy has shown incredible resilience and an unshakable love for people. Despite his rough beginning, Mister Paws greets the world with a wagging tail, a hopeful heart, and endless affection. At 53 lbs, Mister Paws is the perfect medium-large companion. He is one of the friendliest dogs you'll ever meet, loving everyone he encounters-women, men, children, and canine friends alike. He truly thrives on companionship and enjoys playing with other dogs, though he does not require another dog in the home to be happy.True to his hound roots, Mister Paws has a medium-high energy level and would do best in a home with a yard where he can stretch his legs, sniff to his heart's content, and enjoy outdoor time. He walks nicely on leash, rides well in the car, and is not destructive. He does have that classic hound voice, so his expressive barking is part of the charm!Mister Paws is currently working on house and crate training and is eager to continue learning with a patient, loving family. He is gentle when handled, not food aggressive, and shows no leash reactivity to people or dogs. What truly sets Mister Paws apart is his spirit. After being found starving and alone, he has chosen love. He trusts easily, loves deeply, and reminds everyone he meets just how special second chances can be. Mister Paws is ready for his forever home - could it be with you? Story
Kyle's story is one of movement, curiosity, and a heart that's always ready for the next adventure.Born around March 16, 2024, Kyle is a 1.5-year-old Coonhound mix with striking black-and-brown markings and a lean, athletic 56-lb build made for running. At just four months old, he was surrendered and brought into rescue, where he waited - growing up with hope - until his journey led him to Small Critters Rescue in September 2025.Kyle is the kind of dog who wakes up excited for the day ahead. He's friendly with men, women, kids, and other dogs, greeting the world with a wagging tail and that classic hound enthusiasm. True to his breed, he has a voice and isn't afraid to use it now and then, but it's simply part of his charm. He walks well on leash, rides happily in the car, and loves getting out to explore. If he spots another dog, his excitement might show with a bit of pulling - not from reactivity, just eagerness to say hello. At home, Kyle is still polishing his manners: house training is in progress, crate training is a work in progress too, and if he gets bored, he may decide his bed looks like a chew toy. A tired Kyle, though, is a happy Kyle.Smart and curious, Kyle knows how to open a yard gate if it isn't locked - a reminder that this boy needs both space to run and an engaged family to keep his clever mind busy. A home with a secure yard is a must, and apartment life wouldn't suit his energetic spirit. What Kyle truly wants is an active family - people who will take him on walks, hikes, and adventures, who will let him stretch his legs and then come home to rest, content and loved. He doesn't need another dog to be happy. He just needs a place where he can belong.Kyle is ready for his next chapter - one filled with fresh air, open space, and a family who sees his energy not as a challenge, but as a gift.
