Story
Pittsburgh, PA DIXIES ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN SPONSORED! Dixie is amazing 4 year-old sweetheart whose adoption fee has been generously sponsored by a supporter who wants to help her find the loving home she deserves. That means there is no adoption fee for her approved adopter. Please note: * An adoption application is still required. * Applicants must be approved through our normal adoption process. * Dixies adoption fee is simply being covered by his sponsor. Dixie somehow found myself in a shelter after running around having adventures with a buddy of mine. No one ever came to claim me, which I truly dont understand... but I know my story isnt over yet. Now Im a guest at Boujee Barn Pet Resort while I wait for my forever family. Its pretty sweet here (not gonna lie), but what I really want is a place to call my very own with my people, my routine, and all the love. The humans here keep telling me Im the best girl... and honestly, I believe them. My room is always spotlessI like to keep things nice and tidy! I love to play ball (like... really love it), and Im always up for a good game. When Im not playing, Im all about cuddles and kisses with my humans. Oh and I get along well with other dogs and cats, too! All I need now is my forever family to find me. Ill be waiting.... If interested in Dixie, (you won't be sorry as she is an amazing girl, the first step is to fill out an application at www.ddrinc.net. PA Kennel License #19086

Story
Cletus (Currently going by Oscar)'s Story Dumped and left with a garbage can for shelter, his companion had been killed on the road. With lots of help, he was finally out of the cold. Traveling from Morgantown with Cletus, volunteers call him “the sweetest of hounds”. He insists on giving you his paw to hold. Cletus is estimated to be between 6 and 7 years old -- an "adult" on the cusp of being called a senior. He is underweight at 67 lbs. but now that he has a regular feeding schedule and lots of attention, Cletus will surely gain a few pounds and many new friends.

Story
Pixie is a 4-year-old Coonhound who shows her true personality in her howl. She is very vocal, and she will make sure you hear her! She likes to zone out and just listen to her own voice. She's been known to bark at a wall for no reason at all. Other than her silliness, Pixie is a very sweet dog. She displays almost zero shyness to new faces. She's happy to get the attention from just about anyone. She is very treat motivated. Some would call her lazy, others would say laid-back. She is definitely a dog that could be your next couch potato when she doesn't have the zoomies. As any typical hound, she has those playful times full of running, jumping and back-n-forth zoomies. She enjoys lounging around and cuddling up with her human(s). We have yet to meet a person that Pixie doesn't like, as well as dogs. Pixie has been very good around the other dogs, and she has had no known issues. She also seems very curious in the cat room. She walks past all the cats with her tail wagging and her nose working towards them. Even with more reactive cats, Pixie recovers well and shows that she would do pretty well in a home with cats. Pixie walks well on a leash and looks forward to her humans taking her for walks. Pixie was surrendered to us in early April in hopes she would go to a better home! If Pixie sounds like the right pup for you, apply today!

Story
WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org ☕🐾 Meet Earl Gray — aka “Eggy,” the Tiny Cup of Puppy Energy 🐾☕ Male • ~3–4 Months Old • Heeler Mix • Professional Explorer in Training Introducing Earl Gray, affectionately known as Eggy — a brave little pup who almost ran out of time at a crowded shelter, but thankfully someone noticed that this sweet boy still had a whole lifetime of puppy shenanigans left to deliver. Thankfully, he is now safe — and ready to show the world just how much love can fit inside one small, wiggly puppy. And trust us… Eggy is delivering. This floppy, curious little guy is the perfect mix of playful, affectionate, and just a little bit goofy. The world is brand new to him, and he is determined to check out every single corner of it. Stick on the ground? Investigation required. Toy on the floor? Immediate wrestling match. Another dog nearby? Time for professional-level playtime. Eggy absolutely loves other dogs and has a very sweet, gentle personality around them. He’s more of the polite “hey, wanna play?” type than the bossy type, which makes him an awesome future buddy for another pup. If there’s a dog around willing to wrestle, chase, or participate in a backyard zoomie session, Eggy is happily clocking in for duty. And because he’s part Heeler, there’s a smart little brain working overtime in that adorable head of his. The good news? Eggy is very food motivated, which means training is basically a fun game to him. Bring snacks and he’s ready to learn the world. He’s already doing great with crate training and potty training, and his crate has become his cozy little “Eggy headquarters” where he can relax and recharge after a long day of puppy adventures. Now let’s talk about the most important part of puppy life: shenanigans. Life with Eggy will likely include: • Zoomies that appear out of nowhere • Dramatic toy battles • Random puppy flops when he’s suddenly tired • Curious investigations of absolutely everything • And a whole lot of happy tail wags Despite his rough start, Eggy has a brave and loving little heart that just needs a family to keep helping him grow and gain confidence. With patience, kindness, and a little guidance, he’s going to blossom into an incredibly loyal, fun-loving companion. If you’re looking for a pup who will bring laughter, energy, adventure, and a whole lot of love into your life, Eggy might just be your perfect match. Because every good day really does start with a cup of Earl Gray. ☕ 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let Eggy bring the fun, the zoomies, and the puppy love home. 🐶💛
