Story
Miley is a 5 month old Hound mix (our best guess!) who would love to find a family to call her own. She’s potty trained, crate trained, and gets along great with other dogs. Miley is super playful and eager to please! She would do best in a home where someone is around during the day and where she has a canine companion to play and hang out with. She has not been aroudn cats, but we think she would probably chase them. If you’re interested in adopting Miley, please apply at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a home check *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2534092##

Meet Shia – Your Loyal, Lovable, Long-Eared Best Friend! Shia is a 5 1/2 year old Black and Tan Coonhound weighing around 70 pounds and ready to steal your heart (and maybe a snack or two)! This handsome hound is full of personality—intelligent, affectionate, and eager to please. Shia absolutely loves other dogs and even gets along with cats! He thrives in environments with structure and consistency and has done well in both home settings and doggy daycare. He’s housebroken, crate trained, and has been professionally trained to help him shine his brightest. He would do best in an adult-only home or one without small children. While incredibly friendly, he’s still learning personal space with kiddos and needs a calm, patient environment where his boundaries—especially around food and sleep—are respected. He’s made great progress with training and just needs a family who understands and continues the consistency he's benefited from. Shia is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on prevention. He’s a goofy, loving boy who wants nothing more than to be your loyal sidekick.
