Meet Shia – Your Loyal, Lovable, Long-Eared Best Friend! Shia is a 5 1/2 year old Black and Tan Coonhound weighing around 70 pounds and ready to steal your heart (and maybe a snack or two)! This handsome hound is full of personality—intelligent, affectionate, and eager to please. Shia absolutely loves other dogs and even gets along with cats! He thrives in environments with structure and consistency and has done well in both home settings and doggy daycare. He’s housebroken, crate trained, and has been professionally trained to help him shine his brightest. He would do best in an adult-only home or one without small children. While incredibly friendly, he’s still learning personal space with kiddos and needs a calm, patient environment where his boundaries—especially around food and sleep—are respected. He’s made great progress with training and just needs a family who understands and continues the consistency he's benefited from. Shia is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on prevention. He’s a goofy, loving boy who wants nothing more than to be your loyal sidekick. Looking for a loyal friend who loves long walks, belly rubs, and a cozy crate nap? Shia just might be your perfect match.
