Found living in insulation under an abandoned trailer, Wednesday and her companion Ichabod also had some puppies present. Another org took the pups, leaving these 2 at the shelter. This amazing boy is now safe with us. He was living in a car with his unhoused family. They knew this was not a good option for him in the long haul. They surrendered the pup to our friends who help in the skid row area. He is a soulful up-with the cutest head tilt and full of love. He is incredibly friendly with people and dogs, and upon every meeting wiggles with complete delight. He is potty trained and is learning basic commands. He is comfortable in a crate short term. With continued structure, Ajax will will make an incredibly loyal companion. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. Please direct all questions to adopt@crdogrescue.com. All our dogs can be met with an approved application. Our handsome and sweet boy Burrito was rescued (with his four babies - Ceviche, Salsa, Enchilada and Taquito) from horrible neglect and physical abuse. He spent the first 6 or 7 year of his life chained up outside of a factory in South Korea where he spent his days in fear of his abusers. As soon as we rescued Burrito, we took him to the vet where he was diagnosed with heartworm. Luckily we were able to get him treated right away and he is now a healthy and happy little hunk. He recently took his freedom flight from Korea to LA and is loving life in his first ever home! Despite his traumatic past, Burrito is a sweet, calm and loving boy. He adores pets, walks and lots of treats! Plus he's good with other dogs! Apply to adopt this papa pup today!
