Meet Oona! Oona has had a terribly rough start to her life, at just about 1 year old, Oona not only had already given birth to a puppies, but her and her puppies were surrendered to a kill shelter, where they found themselves sitting on the euthanasia list, simply for being unadoptable due to still needing to nurse from momma Oona. Luckily for this sweet mom, her and her pups were saved when they were lovingly brought in by Wags and Whiskers, where they quickly found a foster home, and got to grow in peace. Now, Oona's pups are weaned, and Oona is ready to move on and find her forever home! Oona has proven to be good with cats, dogs, kids, and every person she has seen. All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over 6 months old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home. Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners.
