Chewbacca “Chewy”: When we got to spend the first day with Chewy it was very clear that he is a gentle boy. The way he would sit nice for my kids to love on him, his gentle approach to taking treats, and how easy he is on the leash. I am not sure there are many dogs who come into foster on day one and choose to be right in the middle of life without a second thought. He follows us around and is always ready for the next activity, but man the second anyone sits down he is absolutely stoked to jump on you and snuggle in for a nap! He loves to just be around his people. He would be an amazing fit for a young family with kids, a 20 something ready for their first dog, or even someone who is looking to add their next dog to their life! He would benefit from either an active lifestyle or someone to take him on a walk regularly. It’s a plus if his new owner will allow him to snuggle in at bedtime. He is such a good boy! Han Solo “Hans”: If you are looking for your right-hand man, who is ready to jump in the car and go with you, look no further! He is a gentle soul with the sweetest happy dance when he sees his people! He is obsessed with kids and is not bothered by cats, chickens, dogs, etc. His only focus in life is to have fun and snuggle his human! If you are worried about the breed mix, let me assure you, this boy has an off switch! He loves nothing more than a cozy evening watching movies and snuggling. He is active enough for a young family or someone who enjoys a nice walk, or even a hike. Hans has a way to melt your soul the second you meet him. He is a gentle boy who just wants to please. Hans is potty trained and does not mark, he is kennel trained, he loves to go in the car, walks great on a leash, and is very good at sitting nice to get all the attention! I will say, I think this boy would really love a kid of his own. Story
I bought Chewwie when he was a puppy and have had him ever since. He love cuddles and playing with others but can get overly protective at times. My wife and I play fight a lot and Chewwie barks and jumps around a lot which my wife gets really nervous about. We have a baby on the way and my wife doesn’t want anything that might scare the baby or be a possible problem. After years of having him I’ve had zero problems and he’s really a great dog but it’s time to find him a new home because of my baby on the way.
