Story
Buddy is a very good, sweet, kinda derpy boy. He is a senior at around 14-15. Pros: Loves walks but also happy being lazy, loves belly rubs, handsome boy. Potty trained. He sleeps with his tongue out which is the cutest thing. Cons: Food aggressive toward animals, so we feed him separately. He has had a few accidents in the house, but we have noticed each time that he has tried to tell us he needs out beforehand, so that is on us. He would do very well as the only pet, but besides being overly protective of his food, he gets along great with other dogs and even cats if introduced properly. He was my parents dog. I lost them both recently. I have 2 dogs and a cat already and have tried very hard to adjust to a 3 dog + cat household. The stress on top of my grief is just adding up to too much. If I turn him over, I want to know that he is loved so I cannot bring myself to take him to a shelter. My parents loved him very much.

Story
Charlotte “Charlie” is a 5-month-old Corgi puppy with a sweet personality and lots of playful energy. She came to rescue from a situation where multiple corgis were abandoned, and she is doing wonderfully in foster care. Charlie loves toys, outdoor play, and being near her people. She sleeps in a playpen at night and keeps it clean. She gets along well with other dogs, ignores the cat, and has become more comfortable with handling — even giving kisses! She is still working on potty training and will need a patient adopter ready to continue puppy guidance and routine. (Not a big fan of baths yet!) Charlie is a soft, affectionate girl who is ready for a loving forever home. ✨ All Heart of America Humane Society dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations.
