Story
This little boy was a rescue that we adopted about 2 years ago. When we got him, he’d clearly been abused and neglected. He would eat anything he could find, cower if anyone approached him too quickly, and didn’t seem to have any name to respond to. He was super needy, and full to the brim with anxiety, but we pushed through. Now, he has done professional training, and has proven to be a very loyal and obedient dog. He no longer scavenges and will walk right up to you asking for belly rubs. He’s great at recall, and he loves to play. He loves food, toys, and pets. There is still room to grow, but sadly it’s not possible for us anymore. He has a high prey drive, and we can’t have him in our home anymore, as he shows signs of being a danger to the new baby. We’d love to continue training, but the risk is too high for us. We want to get him into a new home with prior dog experience that can continue his training. We love him very much, and want the best home for him so he can thrive.
