Meet Peejay!
Peejay is a 15-lb Corgi mix with a heart much bigger than his little body. His love language is physical touch, and he is happiest when he’s being pet, cuddled, or nuzzling his little face into your neck.
This sweet boy is a total shadow, following his foster mom from room to room with his tail wagging nonstop. He is simply the happiest little guy and has been the best boy in his foster home! He sleeps through the night in his crate, takes care of business right away when he goes outside, and has been an absolute gentleman with his older foster fur-sister.
Peejay enjoys short walks, although he may occasionally request to be carried for a bit so his tiny legs can take a quick break! He loves treats and is currently working on learning how to sit.
If you’re looking for a happy, affectionate little shadow who just wants to love you with his whole heart, Peejay may be your guy!
This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. If this is the case, your adoption coordinator will provide guidance on the process.)

Our dogs come from various situations, such as kill shelters, owner surrenders, or as strays. It is likely both parents were mixed breeds as well.
Sandy Paws Rescue does not have a public shelter in Massachusetts. Our dogs reside in private foster homes or boarding kennels in the South until adopted. Many dogs are spoken for prior to transport or release from state-mandated isolation.
