Mia **Not Available to Be Seen Until Open House on Wednesday 09/23** Good with Kids and Dogs! 10 weeks./12 lb./Female/Corgi Mix Name: Mia Age: 10 weeks Weight: 12 lbs Breed: Corgi Mix Status: Short legs, sweet face, big plans for forever About Me: Hi, I’m Mia! I’m a 10-week-old Corgi mix with an adorable scruffy face, little legs, and a whole lot of puppy life ahead of me. Right now, I’m busy discovering how everything works. There are toys to investigate, people to meet, places to explore, and plenty of good-dog lessons waiting for me. At my age, I’m still a little work in progress, so I’ll need a family ready to help me with house training, leash skills, socialization, manners, and all the other important parts of growing up. What I really need is someone who wants to enjoy the journey with me. Puppyhood comes with silly moments, mistakes, milestones, and lots of learning—but it also gives us the chance to build an incredible bond right from the start. Put in the time now, and I have a whole lifetime to spend being your girl. Best Qualities: Full of puppy potential: I’m at a great age to start learning routines, building confidence, and developing all those good-dog habits. Ready to explore: The world is still brand new to me, and I have so many adventures and experiences waiting ahead. A relationship from the very beginning: My family gets to know me as I grow and help shape the wonderful adult dog I’ll become. Seriously hard to resist: Between my scruffy little face and those short legs, I have the puppy charm department pretty well covered. Ideal Match: I’m looking for a family who wants an involved, lifelong companion and understands what raising a puppy takes. I’ll need positive training, socialization, play, enrichment, appropriate exercise, and plenty of patience and consistency. I’d love people who will introduce me to the world, include me in their lives, and give me everything I need to grow into a happy, confident girl. Deal Breakers: No time for puppy school: I’m only 10 weeks old, so house training, leash walking, manners, and plenty of other lessons are still ahead of me. A life without things to do: My growing puppy brain needs play, enrichment, exploration, and new experiences. Only falling for the baby version of me: This adorable puppy stage won’t last forever. I need someone equally excited to love grown-up Mia. Fun Fact: My legs may be short, but fortunately there’s no height requirement for becoming your best friend.

He’s a low energy pup whose idea of a good time is snuggling up on the couch. Max is looking for a loving home where he can feel secure and continue to build his confidence!Max can be on the shy side during initial meetings. He likes to take his time feeling comfortable with new people, and he hopes his forever family will understand that and advocate for his need to take greetings at his own pace. Max also appreciates slow intros to new dogs, especially if they’re bigger than he is. He does wonderfully with dogs whose calm energy matches his. Max is fabulous with kids and cats!Max is fully housetrained. He’s been working hard on his crate training and is making great progress. He may whine for a few minutes in the hope that you’ll change your mind and let him out, but he settles down and can spend the whole night in his crate. Max has great leash manners and enjoys walks, though he may need extra encouragement in busy or loud settings.Max is a handsome, affectionate guy who can’t wait to snuggle his way into your heart. Could he be the one you’ve been looking for? Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line. Story
Meet Peejay!  Peejay is a 15-lb Corgi mix with a heart much bigger than his little body. His love language is physical touch, and he is happiest when he’s being pet, cuddled, or nuzzling his little face into your neck.  This sweet boy is a total shadow, following his foster mom from room to room with his tail wagging nonstop. He is simply the happiest little guy and has been the best boy in his foster home! He sleeps through the night in his crate, takes care of business right away when he goes outside, and has been an absolute gentleman with his older foster fur-sister. Peejay enjoys short walks, although he may occasionally request to be carried for a bit so his tiny legs can take a quick break! He loves treats and is currently working on learning how to sit. If you’re looking for a happy, affectionate little shadow who just wants to love you with his whole heart, Peejay may be your guy! This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. If this is the case, your adoption coordinator will provide guidance on the process.)   To adopt or learn more about this dog, you must complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com.   PLEASE READ:     •    If a dog or puppy is listed, they are currently available for adoption. However, they may already be pending an adoption, and their profile may not yet reflect this.     •    All information is accurate to the best of our knowledge as of the posting date.     •    Unless explicitly stated, Sandy Paws Rescue does not guarantee the breed of any dog. Breeds listed are educated guesses made by shelter staff, volunteers, or veterinarians. Many of our dogs are mixed breeds, often with pit bull-type genetics, resulting in a wide variety of physical traits and temperaments.   Our dogs come from various situations, such as kill shelters, owner surrenders, or as strays. It is likely both parents were mixed breeds as well.   Sandy Paws Rescue does not have a public shelter in Massachusetts. Our dogs reside in private foster homes or boarding kennels in the South until adopted. Many dogs are spoken for prior to transport or release from state-mandated isolation.   For information on adoption fees, procedures, or FAQs, visit our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com.   The FIRST step in adopting from Sandy Paws Rescue is to submit a completed adoption application.   ##2825618##
