Age: 2 Years Good with dogs? Yes Good with cats? Unknown Good with kids? Yes Weight: 25lbs Adoption Fee: $320.00 Any other info: Meet Bates! If you're looking for a fun sized bundle of happiness, Bates is your guy! This handsome 2 year old Corgi with mesmerizing eyes weighs in at just 25 pounds, but his personality is absolutely larger than life. Bates is friendly with everyone he meets and approaches life with a glass half full mentality. Whether he's zooming around the yard, chasing toys, or soaking up attention from his favorite people, this boy is always ready for fun. Bates is scheduled to be neutered here with us. He is also up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and kept on prevention here with us. Bates is still learning some manners so his future family should be prepared to continue working on potty training and helping him learn the ropes. With consistency and patience, he's sure to make great progress. Bates has been social around other dogs and has shown no signs of reactivity. While he hasn't had much opportunity to play with canine friends yet, he seems interested and may enjoy having dog buddies. He's also shown us that he's surprisingly patient and gentle, leading us to believe he may do well with respectful children. Bates is looking for a family that will embrace his playful personality, continue his training, and give him all the love he's been waiting for. In return, he'll provide endless entertainment, loyal companionship, and plenty of Corgi charm. Ready to add a little extra joy to your life? Bates can't wait to meet you! Story
Roo would make for a great family dog or a dog for an active young adult. She LOVES playing catch with her tennis balls and will play for hours if you are up for it. She loves going places and meeting new people. She will wiggle and wiggle until the new person gives her a good belly rub. She is fully housebroken, snuggles into her cozy bed (which will be coming with her) at night and sleeps until morning. Her fur is like velvet and you won't be able to stop petting her. Don't be fooled by her age. She has plenty of energy but will gladly curl up on the couch or at your feet and rest right along with you.

Story
Howdy, my name is Parker Posey, and I am looking for my forever family. I am a sensitive, unique dog looking for a special home to call my own. The key to my heart is mutual respect and consistency. Sudden changes can be so stressful right? I would thrive on a routine so that I can know what to expect in my day. Due to my history, I would need a home without other animals and children. My foster mom reports that I am a fantastic guest and that I have taken very well to crate training. When I am comfortable and solicit attention, checking in with me to make sure I`m still enjoying myself is important, and luckily, I will nuzzle your hand if you stop rubbing my belly to let you know I still want more affection! I love my chew toys and am very polite about not messing with other objects despite how much I love to nibble! Please let me be your princess and I will reward you with all of the love my little body can give!Parker Posey is currently living in one of our wonderful foster homes. Adopting from foster is easy! Please email adoptions@hshv.org or call (734)662-5585 to arrange a meeting today!
