Not good with cats,
Story
I’m not a fan of cats, so I would prefer to live in a home without any. - TJ Dogs are usually tested with other dogs their size, and we encourage meet-and-greets with your dog before adoption. Cat tests are available if requested, but they only check for clear aggression. Always be careful when introducing dogs to cats. Advice about dogs living with children is based on behavior like energy level and how the dog handles touch. Young children should never be left alone with dogs, and we cannot guarantee how any dog will behave with kids or other pets. Behavior seen in the shelter is just a snapshot and may change in a home. Dogs come from many backgrounds and may need training, time, and patience. Dogs should not be fed together unless you know they do not guard food. We also suggest learning about a dog's breed or mix to be sure it fits your family. Moving to a new home can be stressful for dogs. Use the Rule of 3 to help them adjust: First 3 days: Dogs may feel scared, tired, overexcited, or not want to eat. First 3 weeks: Dogs start learning routines and may show new behaviors. Keep things calm and avoid busy places. First 3 months: Dogs usually feel settled and more comfortable. Story
Daisy is a sweet 4 year old corgi, Shepard, heeler mix. She has the body shape and size of a corgi. She does great with the dogs in our house and runs the fence barking and trying to play with the neighbors dogs. She is potty trained and knows how to sit. She is working on “come”. She loves to cuddle and try’s to be a lap dog. She does not generally like to be picked up, or have her nails trimmed. She does chew on her nails so they stay short. She loves milk bones! She does kennel when no one is home and at night. If she is left home alone for short 20-30 min times she does well out of her kennel. We haven’t tried it for much longer. She will come with her kennel, a few toys, and a bag of dog food.

Story
𝕄𝕠𝕝𝕝𝕪 has the kind of charm that wins hearts instantly. She’s a short little “low rider” with a happy trot and a wagging tail that’s guaranteed to make you smile. Watching her zoom around on those short, stubby legs is a little hilarious. She always looks like she is on a mission. 𝕄𝕠𝕝𝕝𝕪 listens well, sleeps in her kennel at night, and is very easy to care for. This sweet, well-mannered girl lives to make her humans proud. 𝕄𝕠𝕝𝕝𝕪 gets along great with other dogs. She is a little shy around males at first, but once she knows she is safe she adores everyone she meets. 𝕄𝕠𝕝𝕝𝕪 loves playing with kids and would do best with either another dog in the home or kids that will play with her. She’s calm, gentle, and full of love, perfect for someone looking for a loyal companion to share life with. Looking for a walking buddy? 𝕄𝕠𝕝𝕝𝕪 is always up for exploring the world (especially all the smells). Need a cuddle buddy? She’s your girl, especially if there are blankets involved, because Molly loves being under the covers, it’s her favorite place! Once let out of the kennel 𝕄𝕠𝕝𝕝𝕪 runs up to say hi, then runs out to potty, she loves routine! **PLEASE NOTE - We are unable to respond to inquiries on Adopt A Pet.
