Story
Rose is a 6-year old Pit-Corgi mix. She originally was adopted from a private party who kept her crated during their busy work days. She was then adopted by a senior couple and roams freely indoors and has the run of a large fenced yard. Rose is house trained and reliable inside. She shares her home with a cat and they live harmoniously together. Due to the recent death of her male owner, Rose is needing to be rehomed. She is small, yet mighty, and a little much for her petite female owner to handle. Positives and negatives about Rose… She loves human contact and plays with toys. She is not an incessant barker. She is a bit insecure and can be fearful of sudden unfamiliar movements. This causes, at times, for her to react with a quick snap or bite. She is reactive to other dogs on leash, but she loves people. Proper introduction to other dogs and intermediate training is recommended. Rose would be a good companion for an experienced dog owner in a home without small children.

Story
**PLEASE BE SURE YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT WHEN REQUESTING AN APPLICATION!** 10-12-26: "HELLO everyone!! Thank you for stopping on my profile and I am so excited to tell you all about me! So, let's start with my basics: My name is HUEY, I am about 5 years old, 13 pounds, am neutered, chipped, had all my vaccines and am heart worm negative! My Foster Mom says my manners appear pretty good considering I was living outside in a rabbit hutch with Billy Bob (also available for adoption). She says you just need to keep on me and take me out on regular schedule till I really perfect this behavior! Do I look like a rabbit, NO, I am an adorable Scottish Terrier/Corgi mix boy, who is loving living inside--but I do need a FENCED yard, as with my newfound freedom, as well, sometimes I play catch me if you can with my Foster Mom and Dad, LOL...I am good with other dogs, but not children. Cats I can't say, because there are none at my foster home. I spent a short time at the local county shelter where I ended up with a bunch of my friends, after our owner was not taking care of us properly, and Animal Control stepped in to help us. I am doing so much better now with people, as the extent of my interaction was very limited in my previous home. But please don't let that hold you back from meeting me!" "If I sound like a guy you'd love to add to your life, please email my mom at citizens4animals@yahoo.com, and she will send application right out or answer any questions you may have about me. For fastest response, please DO NOT call the number on here, EMAIL, as emails are constantly monitored!" "I can't wait to meet you!" Love. HUEY **GOOD VERIFIABLE VET REFERENC REQUIRED**
