Story
Hi, I’m Glow. I’m about nine weeks old and everyone thinks I’m a corgi–Pomeranian mix, (*DNA results are pending) which means I come with a herding brain, a bold little personality, and a whole lot of spark. I’m not expected to be a large dog, but I absolutely have large-dog attitude packed into a compact body. My herding instincts are already showing, so I’ll grow into a moderate to high energy dog who thrives on movement, routines, and enrichment. I’m confident, curious, and quick to learn. I pay attention, adjust fast, and I’m already crate trained and doing great with house training.
Because I’m still learning all my manners, I’m not the best full-time match for human babies or toddlers right now. I can be around them, but tiny humans and puppies learn at the same time, and I don’t always remember that people don’t love my little teeth on their ankles or my zoomy herding moves during play. I’m not aggressive. I’m just figuring out boundaries like any smart puppy. Older kids who understand dogs would be a great fit. Human seniors with limited mobility might find me too much, but active adults or active seniors who can keep up with me would make me very happy.
I also need dog friends who can match my energy. Calm senior dogs would probably find me overwhelming at this stage of life, and it wouldn’t be fair to pair me with dogs who just want to relax. I do best with confident, playful dogs who enjoy moving, teaching, and having fun.

The adoption donation for Glow is $350.
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention (age appropriate). Glow will be adopted on a spay/neuter contract.
If you would like to meet this dog, you must have an approved application on file and be willing to travel to the Mahoning County, Ohio area for a meet and greet. All of our dogs reside in foster homes. We do not have a physical shelter.
Applications will be reviewed/approved and each dog will be placed in the home that can best meet their individual need. If you live in a residence with a Homeowner’s Association (HOA) please make sure you check that the dog you are interested in does not violate size or breed restrictions. A successful adoption is our goal. Submitting an application does not guarantee adoption of any dog.
We require you call your established veterinarian asap to schedule a wellness visit.

**IMPORTANT **
Please note that when you use the “start an inquiry/introduce yourself” feature it is NOT an application to adopt. Don’t waste your time clicking on it!
Adoption donation policy effective 1/1/23:
Under a year - $350 cash/check $360 PayPal/Venmo
Adult (1-9) - $250 cash/check $260 PayPal/Venmo
Senior (10+) - $200 cash/check $210 PayPal/Venmo
We apologize for the inconvenience of a service fee if you are using PayPal or Venmo. Each year we lose hundreds of dollars for their service fees, and their fees continue to rise. Every dollar matters and those lost dollars means less dogs we can fund and help. We are a 100% volunteer group that utilizes foster homes. We do not have a shelter/building. Thank you for understanding.
