4 yr old fixed male, utd on shots. Is currently ESP. Owner going wheelchair bound. Unable to take care of him. Good with some dogs, indifferent to cats. Will chase other small house pets, gerbil, hamster, guinea pigs, birds, etc. Driven to chase, not kill. Needs fenced in yard or always on a leash outside. He chases everything, specializing in treeing squirrels and grounding chipmunks. Not good with small children spatial awareness. Kids 7 or 8 and older are best. ***Has permanently broken right-hind leg, from car accident prior to my getting him. Takes pain meds.

Story
Bonnie is a 3 year old Aussie shepherd/corgi/sheltie mix female. She is only 30 pounds and does not mind being an only dog. She is dog selective but prefers males and will play non stop. She is up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and spayed and ready to go to her new home. She jumps up a lot. Working on the jumping but part of that is her young energy. She loves to kiss people and likes sitting outside when it is sunny. This is one girl that loves belly rubs.  To adopt Bonnie, please do our non-obligatory application at www.pawsandprayers.org so we can see if you are a good match. Bonnie has to have a physical fenced yard as she started out as an outside dog and likes to survey the landscape She is a great escape artist. She does get attached to her person.  Her adoption fee is $350. Any questions,  please email marty@pawsandprayers.org.  Professional photography donated by  Desiree Dube Photos  August 6, 2026, 8:28 am

Story
Meet Spotty! Spotty is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi who was born April 2021. Spotty was used as a breeding dog prior to checking into his new life at The Rescue Inn. Spotty is now in foster care. He's a smart boy who is doing well with potty training. He has had zero accidents in the kennel. Spotty has been wearing belly bands inside as a precaution but no accidents thus far. Spotty does like to chew and is learning the joys of dog toys. His foster mom redirects him to a bone easily. They are working through some resource guarding issues that can be managed and with training he can be beyond. Spotty gets along great with all of his canine foster siblings. Spotty has has also learned to stay away from his "mean" feline foster kitty sibling. So Spotty should have no issues with cats in a home. If you think Spotty may be a match for you, email us at therescueinn@gmail.com AND complete an application here: https://therescueinn.com/adoption-application.html
