Bruno is a 4-year-old, 30-pound Corgi mix with the classic Corgi body (short legs, sturdy build, and that irresistible wiggle) — but with a unique face that makes him truly one of a kind. And when we say wiggle, we mean it… his whole body gets in on the action! Add in his constantly wagging little nub tail, and you’ve got a dog who wears his happiness on his sleeve. Bruno absolutely loves people of all sizes. Whether it’s kids, adults, or anyone willing to give him a little attention, he’s all in — soaking up pets and dishing out affection in return. He’s the kind of dog who will greet you like you’re the best part of his day, every single time. We believe Bruno may have spent much of his life as an outdoor dog, so he’s still learning the ropes when it comes to house training. The good news? He’s already making great progress! He uses the dog door during the day to go in and out, and he does excellent in his kennel at night. With a little patience and consistency, he’s going to catch on quickly. Bruno does well with other dogs overall, but he does not do well with unaltered male dogs, so he’ll do best in a home that can accommodate that preference. If you’re looking for a happy, people-loving pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Bruno is ready to wiggle his way right into your life.

I may be a little shy when we first meet—you might have to come get me (I like to pretend it’s a game of “you can’t catch me,” but I promise I’m not very committed to winning 😅). Once you do, though? I melt. Soft pets, kind voices, and gentle patience are my absolute favorite things. I’m what they call a “gentle heart.” I don’t have a mean bone in my body—just a sensitive soul who wants to feel safe and loved. And once I do? Oh… I start to shine. ✨ I love other dogs—they help me feel brave and show me that everything’s going to be okay. Having a confident canine friend in my forever home would be like having my own emotional support buddy.   Bonnie is a 3 year old Aussie shepherd/corgi/sheltie mix female. She is only 30 pounds and does not mind being an only dog. She is dog selective but prefers males and will play non stop. She is up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and spayed and ready to go to her new home. She jumps up a lot. Working on the jumping but part of that is her young energy. She loves to kiss people and likes sitting outside when it is sunny. This is one girl that loves belly rubs.  To adopt Bonnie, please do our non-obligatory application at www.pawsandprayers.org so we can see if you are a good match. She would do best with a fenced yard as she started out as an outside dog and likes to survey the landscape but she gets pretty attached and does not leave home.  Her adoption fee is $350. Yes, that Bella—the one who literally chose her human. One day I just… followed my now-mom and her dogs home like, “This seems right.” And honestly? Best decision I’ve ever made. I’m about 2 years old (vet’s best guess, but have you seen my teeth? Very white. Very youthful. Iconic.) and 66 pounds of smart, sweet, slightly opinionated perfection. I’m some kind of part Shepherd/part angel mixup of breeds, which basically means I’m beautiful, athletic, and smarter than your average roommate. Let’s get into my resume: • Human-Oriented Queen – I like to be near my person. Preferably always. • Extremely Smart – I learned sit, high five, and treat-catching immediately. I’m basically a prodigy. • Toy Enthusiast – my stuffed Highland cow and tiny T-rex? My prized possessions. • Excellent Communicator – I will bark to let you know when I need to go out to do my bidness in the yard. Efficient. Clear. Respectful. A few notes from management (me): I prefer to approach new people on my terms—no surprise greeters, please. I’ve got boundaries, and honestly, good for me.
