Story
I’m looking to find a safe rescue placement for Paisley, she has a bonded male Rowdy also listed, who recently lost their longtime owner. I know the deceased owner and her family do not want these dogs in a shelter or pound setting. Their owner, Peggy, passed away, leaving the dogs without a permanent home. I stepped in as their temporary caregiver. The previous owner’s family cannot take her dogs. They want to take them in to be euthanized to be with their owner, and I am doing everything I can to see if we can find them a home and keep them alive. I can take care of them temporarily, but this cannot be a long-term arrangement due to their safety. I have two large dogs, and a neighbor dog that is aggressive, and need to be kept separate from Rowdy and Paisley. Paisley is approximately 7 years old and a medium-sized female mix, possibly Corgi, Jack Russell and/or Cattle Dog. She is described as very smart, attentive and a good listener, sweet and affectionate. She wants by her person.

He is 6 years old. Very loveable and cuddly. Loves to play and good with kids. House trained with a pad but will need additional training to go outside. Got him for Christmas and he's been super good as an emotional support pet but no actual training for it.

Story
Bandit is a tripod (front left leg amputee) who has adapted incredibly well and doesn’t let it slow him down. He has been with our family since he was a puppy.We are looking to rehome him because he has become uncomfortable around our youngest child. Because of this, we feel he would do best in a home without children.Bandit does well at dog daycare and enjoys being around other dogs, although he has shown some food aggression at home with our two other dogs. He loves attention, pets, walks, and spending time outdoors.He has also been having accidents in the house and we believe anxiety may be contributing to this behavior. He previously did well with house training.Bandit loves exploring and would do best with a secure fenced yard or an owner who can ensure he stays safely contained.This is a very difficult decision for our family because we love him very much. We want to find a home that is the best fit for his needs and where he can be successful.
