Story
Sunny is one of those dogs that will be the one in a lifetime friend. She will be you children’s best friend. Their Nanny dog. She love being outside the best but in side she will watch any tv station without asking you to hangs the channel. Sunny loves car rides and I bet would like the boat just s much. Hiking will bring out here search and rescue skills looking for a good time. Please do not over look Sunny. You will never regret  having her as you next best friendI am now fostering Sunny, a beautiful midsized and very sweet girl 3 year old girl. I just got her yesterday so we are just learning about each other, but I wanted to get a picture of her on here and tell you what I have learned so far. She loves children and other dogs, but I don’t think she cares for cats. She’s young with perfect teeth and good breath and high energy. She loves chasing a tennis ball but if you leave it with her, she will chew it up in about an hour. So I got a textured rubber ball that will withstand the chewing and she’s having a great time with it. She comes when she’s called most of the time and we are working on that. She shows no interest in jumping my fence and loves the backyard. Her fur might be the softest I’ve ever touched. Although I have a cover and allow her on the sofa, she has decided she likes the large dog “muddy mat” bed even better. These beds have a removable cover for washing. I can only foster till Sept 17th so help us find her forever home before then so she won't have to go back to boarding!!Introducing you to Sunny!   Attention all Jack Russell lovers! Sunny Remington is a Jack Russell mix weighing in at 35-40 lbs. She is up to date on all vaccinations. She has typical Jack Russell characteristics: full of energy, prey-driven, loves jobs, loves companionship with her person. She will protect you, play fetch with you (hours upon hours) and love you (snuggles under blanket beside you). She would do best in a home with no small children and no other animals (she is the queen). Sunny is house trained and crate trained. Her best trick is bouncing the ball herself and catching in her mouth. Serious inquiries please. 2023 - Sunny is a 5 month old JRT mix! She is currently in a foster home through our MS team, has received two rounds of vaccinations/dewormer/prevention, and is thriving! Sunny was rescued off of the side of the road by the garbage truck crew. An owner reached out to claim her, but never came to get her. She was terrified at the shelter, but thankfully a foster stepped up to temporarily house her! She’s dog friendly, and loves to play!! We would love for Sunny to be able to hitch a ride on our transport to RR this coming up Saturday, but would need a foster and/or potential adopter to do so! Please reach out to the Russell Reacue Team if you’re able to help Sunny! This is Sunny!   Sunny is a 5 month old JRT mix and weighs 15lbs. She’s dog/cat/kid friendly, kennel trained and has been doing well on potty training. She’d do well with an active family — she loves to go on walks!  ‍  She’s received two rounds of vaccines/dewormer/heartgard/nexgard, and is hw negative.Available dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else. We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters. The application is the first step. Story
MEET WAFFLEWaffle has been a part of our pack for almost 2 weeks now. I fell instantly in love with this tiny guy. He was extremely skittish and fearful of loud sounds, people, and being petted. He instantly loves children. It is so sweet how he loves them (and their toys). Now he loves pets and hardly ever reacts to loud sounds. He loves:*to run and play with other dogs*to seriously snuggle with humans*to chew on toys*to escape fences*treatsThings he does great:*walking on a leash*pottying outside when walked on a scheduleThings we are working on:*choosing an appropriate chew toy (not stealing socks)*not being fearful of strangers*crate trainingWaffle has young dog energy being just one year old. He can be mischievous but so lovable.Available dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else. We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters. The application is the first step.
