Story
Lincoln was born in Montana and rescued from the Humane Society at 6 months of age. Lincoln is house trained and is great with all ages. When we lived in Montana, he would join us on hikes off-leash and spent lots of time swimming in lakes. Lincoln loves to fetch anything, and will go as long as you let him. Above all, he enjoys spending time with people and loves to curl up at your feet. He is a great balance of playful and lazy. His one ailment is a front right paw deformity that has been present since birth. It doesn't slow him down, however, he will limp after extended hikes, sessions of fetch, or playtime with other dogs. Thus, we keep fetch and time with other dogs limited. Since relocating to TX we've been growing our family, making it difficult to take care of Lincoln and give him the attention he deserves. Lincoln would do best as the only pet in a household with people who are home most of the time, such as a retired couple who want a low maintenance and mild-tempered dog.

Josie is a 2 year old dachshund/corgi mix weighing 17lbs. She is completely house/crate trained. Josie loves to play with other dogs her size, but is a little timid around larger dogs. She would be fine with older kids. She loves her people! Josie loves walks and is doing well with leash training. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). We are looking for a new, permanent home for Rosco. He is an 11 month old pup who has so much love to give, but he needs a specific environment to truly succeed. About Rosco: • Personality: He is a cuddler who loves affection. He is well socialized with other dogs and is gentle and respectful with the cat in his current home. • Training: He is fully neutered and crate trained. He sleeps soundly in his crate at night. • Energy: He is a high energy pup who would love an active household. His Needs: • Yard Required: Rosco is not a candidate for apartment living. He requires a home with a secure backyard where he can run and play. • Patience & Structure: Because he comes from a trauma infused background, he still struggles with accidents inside. He needs a patient owner who is willing to help him with consistent reinforcement • Separation Anxiety: He has some separation anxiety but is familiar with a routine. He needs a stable, loving environment to help him grow in his confidence.
