Story
I'm looking for a experienced and calm home to adopt my corgi, Zelda. She's going to be 10 years old in April and I've had her since a couple months old. Recent changes in life and relocation has put both her and myself in a stressful situation, she's not adapting well. Req/infon: She will need someone experienced/patient either with no dogs or calm dogs. Due to 2 previous interactions with dogs attacking her any dogs that are high energy or sporadic will cause issue. She will attempt to avoid and get away from stressful situations but if the dog persists to invade her space she will snap back to warn them to get away. Calm dogs she is fine with, the respectful sniff and leave alone, fine and with time with the calmer dogs she will try to initiate play. Cats: uninterested, mild curiosity Kids: Loves to play and lick kids Horses: unknown

Story
Meet Cashew, a sweet pup that has captured the hearts of everyone he/she meets. Cashew is eagerly awaiting his journey to a forever home, but until then, he's in need of a temporary foster family to shower him with love and care. His wagging tail and happy nature make him the perfect companion for cozy nights in and playful adventures outdoors. With Cashew by your side, every day is filled with joy and unconditional love. Reason for Foster: Transport Foster Time Frame: 4/14 or 4/15Foster Care Plan: Cashew will need to return a few days before his transport date for his/her health certificate to be completed. We will provide all the supplies you need to take great care of this sweet boy! Cashew is a foster animal awaiting transport. He will need fostering temporarily until the scheduled transport date, at which time he will travel out of state to location where one of our rescue partners has found him a new loving home. Animals in the transport foster program will not be available for adoption since they have already been tagged by a rescue partner. If you have any questions regarding this program, please contact foster@operationkindness.org.

I've got a secret to share - I wasn't always a dog. Once, I was a star, twinkling brightly in the night sky. But my curiosity got the best of me. I wanted to explore the world below. So, I wished upon a fellow star and found myself here, with paws instead of stardust. It was scary at first, but I've learned to love it. I'm a bit shy, but once I get to know you, we'll have the best time playing and learning together. My past may be magical, but what I really want is a future with you. Adopt me, and let's create our own magic together.April 25, 2024, 3:14 pm

Once, I was just a regular pup, until a magical bone gave me superpowers. I became 'Super Rhea,' using my intelligence and playfulness to solve problems. One day, a big, scary machine threatened my home. I used my powers to lead everyone to safety, but in the confusion, I ended up here, at the shelter. I'm a bit shy, but my curiosity always wins. I'm eager to learn and love to play. My superpower now? Melting hearts. I'm ready to find a family to share my love and adventures with. Will it be you?April 25, 2024, 3:14 pm

Story
Hello, my name is Waddles! I was named Waddles, because, I am a short, and low to the ground. I am a 3 year old, 26 pound, corgi/shepherd mix. I have very cute ears, and a fun personality to go with! I love to play outside, and I love to be with people. I would make a great hiking buddy or a good dog for an active family. I probably would do well with another energetic dog, and I wouldn't mind having kids to play with. Do you think I could be the dog for your family? Bring everyone by to meet me, you can even bring your dog!ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second ChanceSPCA, please come during open hours.
