Story
I'm Annabelle.... I love being with everyone, big and little, humans and dogs. I love to take walks too.I'm the perfect companion! I'm affectionate and I love to be petted around the ears! Here I am with my friends here when I was in the shelter. Now I'm in a foster home with other dogs, and I'm loving it, but I would also be fine with being your only canine companion. I'm so patient for bathing and I'm easy to care for. I'm housetrained and crate trained. I'm a lot of fun and I keep up with the crew. I have a clean bill of health too! I hope to meet you soon!Click on my link to meet me.Love, Annabelle Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: Black Weight: 24.8 Age: 7yrs 2mths 2wks

Story
Meet Foxy! Foxy is a 1 year old, 29 pound, Basenji/terrier mix (We think). She is current on shots, heartworm negative, microchipped and spayed. She is kennel trained, leash and potty trained. Foxy looks and acts more like a puppy than a 2.5 year old dog. She's underweight, but eats well, so should gain the pounds quickly. She gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home and ignores the cat. Foxy craves attention. She can be pretty vocal when she's left alone, so may not be suitable for apartment life. Foxy loves to sit in her person's lap and give hugs. She will do best in a home with other dogs and a human willing to give her a lot of love.If you think this cutie might be a great fit for your home, please submit your application. Story
Meet Luna! Luna is a 10-year-old, 12 lb sweetheart with the gentlest little personality. She can be shy at first and loves having a cozy spot to tuck herself away, but she is also incredibly curious about what her person is doing. The second you get up or walk past her hiding place, Luna will usually pop right out to investigate. Once she bonds with you, she becomes the sweetest little shadow and will happily follow you from room to room—even to the bathroom! Luna absolutely loves affection. Call her name and she will come over for ear rubs, belly rubs, head scratches, and her favorite butt scratches. She loves giving little kisses and takes treats ever so gently, like the proper little lady she is. She will even use pet stairs to come sit beside you when she is ready for a little extra love. She is an incredibly quiet girl and has barely barked in her foster home. New people can make her a little nervous, but she is never snippy or reactive. She may come out to see who has arrived before deciding she would rather observe from the comfort of her favorite hiding spot.Luna is house trained, crate trained, good on a leash, and does well with other calm dogs. She prefers canine companions who will respect her space rather than dogs who are overly rambunctious. She happily goes into her kennel at night and will even put herself to bed when she is ready. Outside, Luna feels most confident when her person is nearby, although she has started following the other dogs out into the yard too.She also rides nicely in the car, although she may decide the floorboard is more comfortable than the fancy bed you brought for her! Luna is truly a sweet, quirky little girl who just wants to feel safe and loved. Her perfect home would be a calm, patient household willing to let her settle in at her own pace. Once Luna knows she can trust you, you will have a loyal little companion who wants to know exactly what you are doing, where you are going, and whether there might be some belly rubs involved! To apply to have your home considered for adoption, read about our adoption process or fees, and find out about interstate transport, please visit our website at https://longwayhome.org/adopt.❤ Long Way Home makes no guarantees on breed--most animals we receive from shelters are mixed breeds.
