This handsome guy would do best in a cat-free home, and while he can coexist with other dogs, he does need a little time to warm up to larger dogs. Little Anzen (Japanese for quiet) was rescued from a local hoarding situation where 9 dogs including a pregnant dog and a litter of puppies were being kept in a junkyard. We are looking for a quiet and safe foster home for Anzen. He's very frightened and will need time to decompress and start to trust people. At the moment, he can not yet be touched, he's too afraid. He will need a secure yard and we think, that the company of a friendly dog could help him become more confident as he loved the other dogs he lived with in the junkyard. Anzen is a little guy at about 28 lbs and as you can see, he's super adorable, he looks like a mini bear baby. Meet adorable Logan! What a ham! He's super duper cute at a perfect size of about 40 lbs. And he's smart as a whip. He learns so fast! Logan was rescued from a high kill shelter and he's definitely happy to be alive and safe! He has quite a bit of energy and is athletic but also loves to just snuggle up next to you. Logan is looking for a calm, adult household with yard access. He has started obedience training and is learning fast. Logan is super affectionate! Story
Dreya was originally found on the side of the road. She was aggressive towards men and territorial prior to her being surrendered to us. While in our care, we rehabilitated her behavior and she has done great. She loves to cuddle and be with her foster humans as much as possible. Dreya seems to be dog selective, and does generally fine with the dogs in her foster home. However, due to incidents which we are happy to explain to anyone interested, she has been marked as not dog friendly. It was also noted that she needs a backyard, as she does not like to go potty on a leash. Dreya is truly a sweet and loving dog, however, she will need to continue to be rehabilitated and worked with, this is why we selected an experienced adopter. Dreya is very teachable, and responds well with consistency, and determination. Dreya will need general socialization to help her continue her journey of trust and love. Dreya is in need of a "Unicorn Adopter", can you be her diamond in the rough?
