Story
Meet Kitsy If you’ve been searching for a best friend who will happily follow you from room to room and love you with her whole heart, Kitsy is ready to meet you. Kitsy is a beautiful 5-month-old mixed breed puppy weighing approximately 24 pounds. With her stunning tan coat, expressive face, and those unforgettable oversized ears, she’s guaranteed to turn heads wherever she goes. Based on her petite mom, Fira (about 18 pounds), we expect Kitsy to stay on the smaller side of medium when fully grown. Kitsy has the sweetest personality. She’s affectionate, gentle, and loves being close to her people. She’s a true Velcro puppy who enjoys cuddling on the couch, joining you for walks, or simply hanging out wherever you are. She has a calm, loving temperament that makes her easy to fall in love with. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has a respectful play style. Kitsy enjoys playing but knows when to take breaks, making her an excellent companion for dogs of all ages and energy levels. She’s also at the perfect age to learn that cats are friends with proper introductions. Kids are another one of Kitsy’s favorite things. She loves attention, cuddles, and being included in family activities, making her a wonderful addition to an active family or a quieter home looking for a loyal companion. Kitsy is the daughter of sweet Fira and the sister of Reva, and she has inherited the same gentle, loving nature that makes this family so special. Story
Meet Reva Reva is a sweet, affectionate 5-month-old puppy with a gentle personality and a heart that seems to have room for everyone she meets.Found in rural Texas with her sister, Kitsy, and their mama, Fira, Reva had a difficult beginning—but you certainly wouldn’t know it from her loving nature. Her foster mom describes her as one of the easiest puppies she’s ever fostered!Reva is dog, cat, and kid friendly and has formed an especially sweet bond with her foster family’s 9-year-old son. She loves to cuddle, relax at your feet, and join you for walks. She’s friendly with adults and children alike and is happiest simply being near the people she loves. Her short black-and-tan coat and beautiful, expressive “Bambi eyes” give Reva a look completely her own—she doesn’t even resemble her sister or mama!Reva is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations and ready to start the next chapter of her life with a family of her own.If you’re looking for an easygoing, loving puppy who can fit beautifully into a home with kids, dogs, cats—or all three—Reva may be your girl. Story
Meet Mac – A Mighty Little Pup We’d like to share the story of a very special pup named Mac (short for Makenzie). Born the runt of her litter with severe limb deformities, Mac was unable to walk and initially given a poor prognosis. But Mac’s story didn’t end there. Thanks to Scout’s Honor Rescue, she was evaluated by the team at Houston Veterinary Specialists, who believed that with corrective surgery on her back legs, she could have a real chance at a happy, active life. Mac proved them right. With her trademark spunk and resilience, she recovered beautifully from major orthopedic surgery. Today, she spends her days chasing lizards in her foster’s backyard and soaking up naps in warm sunbeams. While Mac’s surgery was a great success, her early deformities mean she is more susceptible to injury and already has some arthritis. She will require a bit more advanced veterinary care as she ages. She also may eventually need corrective surgery on her front left leg. That means she really needs an amazing pet parent, someone who will give her the love, care, and medical support she deserves (and fortunately for us, we know quite a few amazing pet parents)! Mac gets along wonderfully with cats, dogs, and children, she truly loves everyone she meets. If you think you might be the perfect match for Mac, please click the link below to fill out an adoption application. https://scoutshonor.org/dogs/little-mac-pup  August 7, 2026, 8:32 am
