Zack was born 7/18/24 and is an AKC Pembroke Welsh Corgi. He has lived with our family since he was 8 weeks old. He loves adventures including hiking, paddle boarding, and riding in a bike trailer. He’s also a champion napper. He is great with our kids, ages 6 and 7, but they understand his desire to herd and how to stop his chasing. Their friends do not, hence our need to rehome. He knows basic commands, but in true corgi fashion, only follows when he feels like it or there’s treats involved. He does talk a lot and loves to cuddle. Overall true to his breed and unfortunately just isn’t a great fit for us as lots of young kids are in and out now. He is also fearful of other dogs. Unfortunately, he was attacked by a dog in a public dog park and though he was not injured, he has not really recovered emotionally. I have tried to reintroduce him under controlled scenarios to new dogs, but he remains very fearful. Best for a family without another dog and teenage children or older.
