I like playing with other dogs my size and energy level.  I love playing outside with my doggie friends, hanging out in yard with you while you garden and then come chill indoors. I want to please my people and work for treats.  I am crate trained, leash trained and like car rides.  No apartments please. i am scared of cats as they have sharp claws.  Courtesay post for the Helotes Humane Society. Story
Aang is highly motivated by food. He is a tank and loves like one. He enjoys sheep herding and would do well on a farm that keeps him working. While sweet, he does have his stubborn streak. He loves cuddles and spending time with his special human. Aang does well with cats, dogs, and children. He is a bit out of shape, but working on the farm will keep him in shape. Aang was rehomed five times in 2 years due to behavioral issues like marking and not getting along with other male dogs. In his current home, once neutered, all previous behavioral issues were no longer an issue. Aang is up to date on shots.

Story
RRuby aka Rue is super sweet, great with dogs! in foster in Lacey, WA RUBY aka RUE... is a sweet, lovable, and funny little lady. She is 35# with short legs (not easy for her to do counter surfing.) We think she is maybe part Welsh Corgi. She is only 1 1/2 yrs old. RUE is crate trained and does excellent in there and never cries. She’s also great on the leash and is getting more comfortable in busy areas like parking lots and stores. She’s still shy around people, but warms up quickly to strangers. She’s potty trained provided you take her out often and on a schedule. She will pee on command which is helpful. Rue loves the woods, trail walks, chasing squirrels and rabbits, snuggles with her people, and is eager to please. She will be an amazing lifelong companion. She does have discomfort in her right leg due to a previous injury she had prior to coming into rescue. She has been to the vet for extensive testing who recommends Cosequin on a regular basis and refrain from climbing stairs or rugged hiking. She is small and as long as she is not allowed to gain weight her future is good with lots of playing and walks and even playing with other young dogs. . We do not recommend her as a "running or major hiking'' buddy. Cosequin is the #1 veterinarian recommended retail joint health supplement brand. It contains glucosamine, chondroitin, and methylsulfonylmethane (MSM). This combination helps to support healthy cartilage. This can be purchased over the counter...Costco, Walmart, Chewy's, and many internet connections. Most dogs can use this product to help throughout their life.
