Story
Aladdin is a very precious, special, 40 lbs, 7 month old sweetheart. He is going to make an amazing family companion. He loves attention from people, getting belly rubs, and giving gentle kisses. He has all the qualities of what makes a corgi a wonderful family companion. Obviously we are not positive of his breed since he is a rescue, but he does look like a corgi shepherd. He has a medium length coat that is very soft!
He has spent time with my 3 and 6 year old kids and absolutely loves them. He loves getting attention from them and following them around, and likes to interact and play with toys.
Aladdin has a confident personality and he does not hesitate to walk up and greet new people.
You can see the interactions of him with cats in his adoption movie, he does not seem to mind them.
Aladdin is fostered with other dogs and does great with them. Sometimes if there is an extra large dog that walks up to him, he gets a little bit nervous, but with proper introductions that will continue to improve.
Aladdin‘s tail is always wagging, he’s a happy, joyful boy, and he minds pretty well. He’s smart and eager to please you.
Aladdin lives in a foster home where he is very well potty trained, crate, trained, and well mannered.
He does not seem to mind writing in the car. When I load him up, he likes to sit on the floorboard in the backseat.
He doesn’t get nervous, walking into new places at all, he’s a confident boy.
Aladdin is going to make an amazing family companion!
He’s going to love curling up on the couch with you or just being your buddy everywhere you want to go.

The first things you will notice about Aladdin are his soft furry coat, long waggy tail, and large floppy ears that bounce right along with his playful personality. It might take you a while to notice that his legs are short – and it certainly doesn’t slow him down at all! Could he have some dachshund in the mix? Aladdin moves fast, and it has a bouncy ‘seesaw’ effect that will make you chuckle. Aladdin is uber friendly and everyone he meets is his best buddy – he has the best attitude! This super affectionate ‘lil guy is going places! Will you be along for the ride?
He is very dog friendly, he is currently being fostered in a home with other puppies his age and size and well as younger puppies and adult dogs, and he does great with everyone. he is still young enough that he would be fine with cats if they are introduced correctly! He is very gentle and would be fine in a home with kids as well.
Although Aladdin is a puppy, he isn't super high energy so would be fine in a home who likes to go for neighborhood walks or play in the backyard.
Aladdin is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood.
You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend!

Why adopt from Three Little Pitties?
The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it!
Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks:
• 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.)
• A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week)
• One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan
• 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan
• Coupons for a fun visit to Petco
• Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup!
We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
