Story
Tully   Name: Tully Age: 3 years Breed: Welsh Corgi Mix Sex: Spayed Female Color: Brown & White Weight: 7.2 kg (15.9 lbs) Height: 33 cm (13 in) at the shoulder   Rescue Story   Tully was rescued from a municipal shelter along with her puppies. Thankfully, all of her puppies have already found loving homes, and now it is Tully’s turn to find a family of her own.   ‍‍‍ Personality with People   Tully is an affectionate, social, and people-loving girl. She happily approaches both familiar people and strangers, leans in for affection, and enjoys being petted.   She loves women, men, and children alike, including children under 13 years old. Tully will often approach kids on her own to ask for pets and attention.   She is comfortable being picked up with an arm under her belly and, once she trusts someone, she will gladly roll over for belly rubs. If you stop petting her too soon, don’t be surprised if she politely asks for more!   Personality with Other Dogs   Tully is just as friendly with dogs as she is with people. She eagerly greets both familiar and unfamiliar dogs and often invites them to play.   She is especially gentle and nurturing with younger dogs and puppies. In fact, puppies with their own mothers often choose to follow Tully because of her sweet and caring personality.   She generally gets along best with dogs that are similar in size or smaller than herself.   Cats   Tully has not been tested with cats, but a cat test can be arranged for approved applicants.   Energy Level   Tully has a moderate energy level. She enjoys outdoor adventures and activities, but once exercise time is over, she is happy to relax quietly by your side.   Walks & Exercise   Because Tully required medical treatment after her rescue, she has not had many opportunities for regular walks yet. However, she naturally follows people well, has shown no fear of being outdoors, and is expected to continue gaining confidence with consistent walks and positive experiences.   Additional Information   No food guarding toward people or other dogs Friendly and easygoing temperament Calm and quiet in a kennel or crate Currently accustomed to outdoor potty habits   May bark at unfamiliar people Can be vocal when asking for attention or something she wants   Ideal Home   Tully would thrive in a home looking for a loving, affectionate companion who enjoys being close to both people and other dogs. Her friendly nature, moderate energy level, and compact size make her a wonderful fit for many different households, including families with respectful children or another friendly dog.   After raising her puppies and watching them find homes of their own, it’s finally Tully’s turn to be someone’s beloved family member.   Could Tully be the missing piece of your family? Good with dogs,
Story
Hi future family, My name is Haeram, and I’m a 5-month-old Welsh Corgi × Jindo mix boy weighing around 8kg. I have short little legs, fluffy soft fur, and a bright happy smile that makes people laugh without even realizing it. Everywhere I go, people tell me how cute and cheerful I look! Before I was rescued, my sister and I were wandering around country roads together. We were still very young, and it was a dangerous place for puppies to grow up. Thankfully, kind people rescued us before anything bad happened, and now I’m safe, healthy, and waiting for my forever family. I really love people. Even when I meet someone for the first time, I usually walk over happily to say hello because I enjoy attention and affection so much. I also get along very well with other dogs, so I could fit nicely into a home with another furry sibling too. Even though I’m still just a puppy, I’m already trying my best to learn! My potty training success rate is very high, and I already know some basic commands like “sit,” “paw,” and “come.” I enjoy walks and love spending time doing activities with people. Being together makes me happiest. But I’m still only five months old. That means I’m still learning about the world every single day. When I move into a new home, I may feel nervous at first. I could make little potty mistakes while adjusting, or I might chew things and get playful because I’m curious about everything around me. Those aren’t “bad behaviors” — they’re simply part of growing up as a puppy. I’ll need time to learn your family’s routines, house rules, walking paths, and how to feel comfortable when left alone. If you guide me patiently and kindly, I promise I’ll learn quickly and grow into an amazing companion. I really love connecting with people, and I respond very well to praise and positive training. If we spend time walking, playing, learning, and building trust together, I know I’ll soon become a true member of your family. I may not be a “finished” dog yet, but that also means we can grow together. For a family who wants to experience the joy of raising a puppy, watching me learn new things, and making beautiful memories together, I know I could become a very special companion. I can already imagine myself following you around the house on my tiny little legs, wagging my tail, and being part of your everyday life. I’m waiting for the family who will walk beside me, grow with me, and love me forever. Love, Haeram 🐾

Story
Wonton Wonderful honestly feels like the dog version of a warm blanket and a lazy Sunday morning. This little guy has the sweetest soft energy about him and the type of face that immediately makes you want to scoop him up and protect him from literally everything LOL. Between the tiny corgi legs, the sleepy puppy dog eyes, and the way he quietly follows around the people he loves most, Wonton has this incredibly comforting little presence that sneaks up on your heart really fast. He’s not loud, demanding, or over-the-top. He’s just a sweet cuddly little homebody that wants cozy naps, soft blankets, sunshine, and his favorite person nearby. Watch his video and prepare to immediately picture him curled up next to you during a lazy Sunday morning: https://youtu.be/bwuZKkyjFXE?si=v18A7Wivd6KPDgj3 Wonton Wonderful is believed to be a Corgi/Chihuahua mix approximately 2 years old and currently weighs about 20 lbs. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. What we do know is that this little guy has absolutely mastered the art of being a professional cuddle companion. Wonton is definitely more of a slow burn with new people and in new environments and will need a little time to settle in before his personality fully comes out. His foster shared that it took him a couple of days to really feel comfortable in the home and around the people there, but now? Total lap dog. Once Wonton decides you’re his person, the rest is history. He becomes incredibly affectionate, wants to cuddle constantly, and has this really sweet loyal way of loving people that feels very genuine. His foster says one of her favorite things about him is the way he gets SO excited when she comes home and is immediately ready for cuddles. He’ll jump up on the couch, get into cuddle position, fully melt into affection mode, and will look up at her like he is saying, “you coming? I’m ready for cuddles.” It’s honestly ridiculously sweet. Wonton does fine with the other people in the home too, but he definitely picks his favorite human and gravitates toward them the most. When his foster leaves and other people are still around, he’ll calmly go lay in his favorite spot in the house and patiently wait for her to come back home. He truly feels like the perfect dog for someone looking for that deep loyal companionship bond with a dog that absolutely cherishes their person. With other dogs, Wonton has been very easygoing and aloof overall. He’s dog friendly, respectful, and coexists beautifully with the dogs in his foster home, but his foster says he really has no interest in playing with them. He’s much more of a “I’ll be over here minding my business and taking my nap” type of guy. Because of that, a super high-energy playful dog probably would not be the ideal fit for him. Wonton would likely do best either as a solo dog soaking up all the love and attention or in a calmer multi-dog household with respectful lower-energy dogs that don’t pressure him into interaction. Think peaceful companionship rather than built-in wrestling buddy. He also met our house cat Biggie and met him appropriately and was very respectful around him. Wonton did not chase Biggie, nor was he bothered by Biggie jumping or doing what cats do. Biggie also seemed to feel comfortable around him as well. We do not know if he has ever lived in a home before with a cat and this was our first time seeing him with a cat. If you have a cat in the home, we can arrange for Wonton to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know! Wonton is crate trained, potty trained, and overall has really lovely house manners. He’s lower energy overall and honestly seems perfectly content sleeping most of the day, sunbathing outside, lounging on the couch, or quietly hanging out nearby while you go about your day. He would likely do great either in an apartment or in a home with a backyard. His foster shared that he enjoys laying outside in the sunshine and would make the perfect little companion while gardening, reading on the patio, or drinking your morning coffee outside. He’s just one of those dogs that makes ordinary quiet moments feel extra cozy At the end of the day, Wonton really isn’t asking for much. He just wants patience, kindness, a comfy place to nap, and someone willing to let him open up at his own pace. And once he does? You’ll have a tiny little best friend that loves you with his whole entire heart. We are willing to test Wonton Wonderful with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Dot is just shy of a year old, and still full of puppy energy! She is very smart, and picks up on new commands easily. She loves every living thing she's met. She currently lives with cats and children with no issues, and has always been the most social dog at the dog park any time she's been. Dot's current owners are experiencing unforeseen medical circumstances and can no longer give her the time and care she needs or deserves. She will be a great addition to any family!

Story
Hi, future family 🧡 My name is Nut, and I’m a 1-year-old boy with a round little body, short legs, and a face that makes people smile the moment they see me. I’m about 10kg, and people say I look like a mix of Shiba Inu, Welsh Corgi, and Jindo. Somehow, I got the best parts of all three — a bright Shiba face, the gentle charm of a Jindo, and tiny Corgi legs that wiggle along when I walk. Apparently, the way I toddle toward people is “extremely cute.” I hear that a lot. But before I got this second chance, my story was almost over. I was rescued from a city shelter just before euthanasia. If help had come any later, I wouldn’t be here today writing this to you. Even though my past was difficult, I still love people very much. I never stopped hoping someone kind would choose me. I’m actually pretty friendly when meeting new people. I like staying close to humans, and if you look at me or talk to me, my tail starts wagging almost immediately. I really enjoy attention, affection, and simply being near the people I love. I also get along well with other dogs and enjoy running around or relaxing beside dog friends. I do have one funny little habit though… Sometimes I get a tiny bit jealous. If another dog is getting all the attention, I might quietly squeeze my way in or try to remind everyone, “Hey… I’m here too!” But it’s not aggressive at all — it’s more like a little kid asking not to be forgotten. Honestly, I just love people so much that I want to be included in the love too. There’s something important I hope you understand about me: Living in a real home will be completely new for me. I’ve spent my life in shelter environments, so things like house routines, walking politely on leash, waiting alone, potty habits, and understanding family life are all things I’m still learning. At first, I might make mistakes, get overly curious, feel nervous in a new place, or show lots of puppy energy. But that doesn’t mean I’m a “bad” dog — it just means I’ve never truly had the chance to learn what family life feels like. Rescue dogs like me sometimes need time to adjust. For the first few days or weeks, I may seem shy, overwhelmed, or different from what you expected. New environments can feel scary at first. But if you stay patient and give me time, I promise I’ll slowly begin to relax, trust, and show you more and more of my real personality. And I think… my real personality is pretty lovable. I’m the little dog who trots after you on short legs. The one who looks at you with bright eyes whenever you call my name. The one who simply wants to be loved and included in your life. Once, I was standing at the edge of goodbye. Now, I’m waiting for a forever family who will give me a warm home, kind patience, and a life where I never have to feel unwanted again. If you choose me, I’ll spend the rest of my life loving you with my whole heart. 🧡

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet Bruno — the best of both worlds wrapped up in one adorable, wiggly package! Bruno is a 4-year-old, 30-pound Corgi mix with the classic Corgi body (short legs, sturdy build, and that irresistible wiggle) — but with a unique face that makes him truly one of a kind. And when we say wiggle, we mean it… his whole body gets in on the action! Add in his constantly wagging little nub tail, and you’ve got a dog who wears his happiness on his sleeve. Bruno absolutely loves people of all sizes. Whether it’s kids, adults, or anyone willing to give him a little attention, he’s all in — soaking up pets and dishing out affection in return. He’s the kind of dog who will greet you like you’re the best part of his day, every single time. We believe Bruno may have spent much of his life as an outdoor dog, so he’s still learning the ropes when it comes to house training. The good news? He’s already making great progress! He uses the dog door during the day to go in and out, and he does excellent in his kennel at night. With a little patience and consistency, he’s going to catch on quickly. Bruno does well with other dogs overall, but he does not do well with unaltered male dogs, so he’ll do best in a home that can accommodate that preference. If you’re looking for a happy, people-loving pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Bruno is ready to wiggle his way right into your life.
