Meet Toblerone!  This adorable gentleman came to the Mission as a transfer from Post Falls Animal Control. His estimated birthdate is 04/21/2022 and he's currently at a healthy 28lbs.  We are just getting to know him but upon intake, he's been easy to handle. He underwent a full groom and remained silent in his kennel while he waited his turn! We were impressed with his skills in those departments so far. He did get to go on a short leash walk and did very well. Additionally, Tobi seems to understand basic commands and wants to please his handler.  We're assessing his animal to animal skills but he is a bit of an in-your-face greeter towards other dogs. We will update further as we get to know him better.  Tobi's adoption fee is $200 and he will come home neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Petey has arrived!! He's the cutest little scruff! He was labeled as a Idaho Shag by the shelter , but I suspect someone tried to make a Cowboy Corgi with a Border Collie? Definitely a little stock dog type herding breed mix. He is Corgi size, maybe 25#s with short legs and has a very minimally shedding wash and wear wire coat. He's right around a year old, neutered and current on vax. Very good meeting all the dogs here on the ranch, did want to get a chicken but stopped immediately on reprimand. Heels on a leash really nice. Goes in and out of gates, sits and waits. Very nice dog!!

Story
Tikka is a beautiful senior doggo who was surrendered after her owner passed away. She is a ball of energy still, loves to hike and play fetch! She loves her person, but can be wary of strangers. She's a very quiet girl in the house and likes her naps! She has never been around small children or cats so a home without them would be best at this point. She can be bossy and jealous with other dogs, so if you have one it would need to be a bigger, chill neutered male who wouldn't get a offend easily. She a the perfect size and age for a mature person/ couple who is looking for a constant companion who is past all the silliness of puppyhood .
