Story
Meet Rylo, a super sweet neutered male shih tzu mix, weighing about 13 lbs!
Rylo has an excellent temperament - he is a happy, friendly boy who gets along well with other dogs, people, and kids. He has not been cat tested, but we feel he would likely be fine with cats.
He is medically up to date, housebroken (expect accidents the first few days while adjusting to a new home/routine), and crate trained. Apply to meet this special boy today!
**Rylo will not be available until our 12/14/25 adoption event at Petco in Dayville, CT. We are accepting applications on him now! We will prioritize applicants who are able to attend the 12/14 event. If Rylo is not adopted at the event, we will move on to other applicants.**

Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding!
