Hi, I'm Grits! I was one of 30 pups rescued from a difficult hoarding case, and while I had a rough start, I am now safe and doing much better with VOCAL. Despite my past, I am very affectionate and love to snuggle. I can be a little shy at first, but once I warm up, I am a loyal friend. While I am not particularly food-motivated, I absolutely love squeaky toys. One of my cutest tricks is I love to be a meerkat. I can sit and watch like this forever. I'm kind of a pro. I am already house-trained and will signal at the door when I need to go outside. I currently live with cats and other dogs and get along well with everyone. While I cannot jump on or off furniture myself, I love to perch on the couch once I am settled there. I currently sleep in a kennel, but I would love the freedom to sleep in a cozy bed near you. Grooming will be an important part of my life. I enjoy my daily face washes and occasional baths, but I am in need of my first professional groom. If you think we could be a good match, I would love a meet and greet. I am currently in a foster home, so please let Vocal know if you would like to schedule an appointment. I look forward to finding my furrever family.

Hi there! I am one of 30 pups from a bad hoarding case. We had a rough start to life where we were used for breeding and forced to live in our filth. We were all severely neglected and had matted, filthy fur. Thankfully, we are in a much better place now with VOCAL! Despite all we've been through, every single one of us is super sweet and social with people and other dogs! Many of us have been placed in foster homes and have done really well, even being chill with cats and being relatively easy to potty train. However, it's important to note that, due to our less than ideal circumstances, we will likely need a bit more patience and work than a normal dog. If you give us a chance, I'm sure we'll be wonderful pets!
