Introducing, Bella!This sweet girl has been with us almost a week and she has been the perfect guest! She got spayed last week so she is still wearing her E-collar, but is healing up so well. She is around 11 or 12 years old and about 8lbs.A few things about Bella:-She excels at cuddling -She loves to be by your side -She is house trained -She is very chill and go with the flow -She is playful and can get a little sassy in the best way -She does great with our human baby and doesn’t mind when he’s crying or upset Bella is the perfect companion if you’re looking for a calm, sweet and fairly energetic senior. She is a lovely little lady who will be your best friend and will love you unconditionally.Available dogs are met by pre-approved adopters ONLY after a match is made. Meet Rosa and Chiquita These sweet girls were removed from a home, along with five others, due to poor care. They didn’t get the start they deserved—but that doesn’t mean their story stays that way. Rosa is about 1½ years old and the bigger of the two. She’s a young mama who is learning that safety, consistency, and gentle care can be part of everyday life. Chiquita is around 5 months old and still very much a puppy—curious, impressionable, and ready to learn what it means to be loved.Rosa and Chiquita are not a bonded pair, but they do take comfort in one another as they adjust. With stability and patience, they can continue building confidence and are expected to do well either together or in separate homes.What they need most right now is a foster or adopter willing to offer patience, structure, and kindness. With the right environment, both girls have every chance to become happy, well-adjusted companions.Please consider fostering or adopting—or sharing post to help them find their way home If you’re interested in fostering or adopting, the first step is the application:https://www.russellrescuetn.com/application-for-adoption/Available dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else. We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters.The application is the first step.
