Story
Bisous is a Coton De Tulear 3 year old and is a total sweetheart. She's an absolute snuggle bug and wants nothing more than to spend all day with you. She sleeps peacefully on your lap while you work and with you on the couch in the evening. When your busy cooking or cleaning she follows you around and quietly observes. She's neutral with other dogs and while she's shown no fear or aggression towards other dogs, her focus remains on her person. Bisous seems unfamiliar with cats and has growled at one a few times, but has interacted multiple times with no issues. When she's excited to see you Bisous shows it by stretching out and crawling towards you with tail wags and happy smiles! She is still working on potty training but she's good about holding it for long periods of time. She hasn’t shown a preference with outside or pads. She’s getting better at walking on a leash each day. She has potential to be a great office dog. Give this girl a safe and loving home and you will never have a shortage of snuggles and affection. She's been sleeping in the bed with her humans. She is still working on potty training. She doesn’t have experience with kids, but is OK with cars and cats. She’s a delight and will bring no shortage of joy. -----

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.

Story
Mr. Marvel or Marv is doing great. He is a 8 year old Coton de Tulear, which means he is very soft and cuddly. He’s been on a winning streak in terms of house breaking. His foster works from home and he’s the perfect office buddy. He is quiet, loves to nap. He LOVES being held and getting all the affection. He is destined to be a lap dog. He does well with other dogs big and small. Marv is super submissive. He would probably do well with cats because he has no prey drive and has little interest in the other dogs he has been around. He would also probably do well with kids as he is super sweet and just wants to be loved (and he has no teeth). He does really well on walks. The groomer said he’s the perfect client. Can’t say enough positive about Marv as he is literally loved by every person he meets. He hates being alone or crated. He barks a lot and so being alone obviously stresses him out. He loves his person and doesn’t want to be away from them. He’s been a constant shadow for his foster human, so he is taken everywhere. He just sits in the car while running errands or a “purse dog” if the place is pet friendly. He will thrive in an environment with companions most of the time. -----

Story
This special little guy is RYAN. He is a 1 year old, 12 pound Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu mix who is simply a loyal lover. He is looking for someone to return his love. RYAN gets along with other dogs. I do not have cats so I am not sure how he would do in a cat home. RYAN was found in a very rural area with GROVER, a 1 year old male Chihuahua. They are best buds but they do not need to be adopted together. It would be nice but not necessary. He is not a barker and does not have an aggressive bone in his body. He was a hot mess of long matted hair when found but he was a true trouper while being groomed. He allowed the groomer to handle him and make him look gorgeous and feel better. If you are interested in adopting RYAN, please submit an application on the website below. Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org
